Someone is clearly putting stuff out there for there own reasons. It's a very similar pattern to Nuno.
Could be a load of reasons. It could be (as someone has just speculated on here) that Moshiri wants to test out fan reaction, maybe they want to try and spook Nuno, maybe Benitez and Nuno before him wanted to pressure the club etc. Maybe they are trying to pressure a left field option.
Or perhaps, the job offer comes in tomorrow and it progresses forward.
It looks a long way from done as of tonight though, so it's odd the likes of Jim White announced it as akin to being done.
