Moshiri has definitely fell out with rest of the board on this one.
Some proper Machavelllian machinations being done here.

"How do I get rid of Kenwright? He is a big Evertonian, lets get a RS legend in and force him to leave. Maybe I can get rid of the Dutch bloke too, he can't do his job if I keep appointing managers who want to control stuff them self."

Had the same thought. This smacks of Moshiri sort of testing out fan reaction.

It’s the same pattern as what happened last week, where all of a sudden out of nowhere all these stories start popping up about Nuno basically being done. Queue significant fan backlash online, we back out?, then things just go dead quiet again for days.

Now all of a sudden stories coming out left and right about Benitez. Queue even more significant fan reaction. I’d imagine if this doesn’t actually get done by, say, tomorrow, then things are likely to go quiet again and somebody else pops up early next week for another round.

Hope this is not true, picking managers on fans reaction. God help us all if that was true.

He was one of the journos briefed by Nuno's team, but hasn't been briefed by Rafael's.

'tis all politics; one thing that can be said for sure is something has spooked the club regarding Nuno. Whether it's the entourage or the relationship with Mendes, who knows.

The board probably thought the fans would be toxic if they got rid of Dunc to accommodate one of Nuno's coaches.

So they've taken the next 'logical Everton' step and go for Benitez who'll bring 3 coaches with him instead of 6.

I’m sat here wondering what Roberto would be like working under a DoF and half of his players weren’t bought from Wigan.

WTF are Everton doing to me?!

I mean,
i can also get on board with this if he comes out and says i've learned how to defend, we're buying players with pace and power, and Thierry Henry is coming too.

If only Jesus Christ was an option
He's on his way Kidda.

Nuno would have wanted to clear out the staff but the best buddies club would never have that
