The 20% who've voted for Nuno, can I just ask what you've seen in Wolves over the last couple of years that makes you think he's the right man for the job? Personally I avoided Wolves' games on the tv as I found them as dull and turgid as Everton, and I had no choice but to watch us!!
x2 7th place finishes with a fairly limited squad (bar a couple of decent Portugese lads).

Hell of a lot better than any of the jokers we’ve had in have managed since Martinez first season.

I’m not saying he’s great but it’s the best looking option on that list apart from “other”.

Rangnick and Sergio Conceicao linked today
Rangnick I know well, could be interesting if he would work with Brands as DoF, bearing in mind it's a title he has held several times himself.

But what do you know about Conceicao? Don't follow the Portuguese leagues- primarily because nowhere shows the matches over here.

Do like the did with Have I got News For You when Angus Deaton left and have it on a guest basis.

One week it’s Big Dunc, next week H from Steps.

Never Richard Ayode though, the charisma vacuuming toad.
Ayode wouldn’t crack under the pressure of Anfield or Old Trafford. I mean, he might, but the players wouldn’t pick up on it or any other emotional cue from him.

Could be just what we need…

Moyes and Roberto are not going to be re-employed.

Rangnick looks very 2013.

Nuno looks too far down the line with Palace and maybe wants London.

Howe is yesterday's man already. The new Curbishley.

Dyche is never getting it.

Fonseca and Gallardo are the type of hack BS shouts that never usually come off.

If Benitez hadn't made the small club crack he might have been a contender.

If Gerrard wasn't Gerard he might have been a decent speculative appointment.

Ten Hag turned Spurs down so I dont see him coming here.

I'd be interviewing:

Lampard and Favre.

Lampard. The man so out of his depth that he had the eventual Champions League winners scrambling for a top half finish.

Come on...

How long do you think we realistically have to wait to get a new manager in ?
If reports are correct and Carlo was in Madrid on Friday , it took Real Madrid 5 days to get their man in with all the annoyances it takes to poach someone already in employment .
Do you think we can get someone in by the week's end so they can play for the transfer window ?

Think there's always a tendency for people to dismiss coaches at lesser sides in England. For my money Graham Potter is showing all the right signs for being worth consideration. In all honesty though, I'm just sick of the disruption. As long as it isn't a Kopite who's going to divide the fanbase or an ex Everton manager who lost sections of the fanbase already, I am starting to care less about who it actually is.

Personally this time around I'd rather be looking at a younger coach who is showing all the right signs about being ready for the next step rather than a "name", but I'm almost past caring

I've absolutly no idea who we should get, who will fit us, or who will do well.

Do we actually have a proper 'Director of football' system, or a manager system ??

It seems like a manager system through the DoF. Brands hasn't, in my mind, just bought players to suit the club, he's brought in players to suit the managers needs.

That's why he was rumoured to have wanted to keep Silva and delayed sacking him cos he was working close with him trying to fix the outgoings and incomings.

If it is going to be a 'young' manager they need to be improving year on year. Howe regressed with Bournemouth and got them relegated, cant see why we should look at him.
Nuno has hit a wall at Wolves.
Potter for me is still on the way up, and although i wouldnt be getting excited if he's who we end up with i'd probably give him a shot over the other names mentioned above.
But by god its a depressing list!

After 10 mins of research my list in terms of preference:
1. Gallardo
2. Ten Hag
3. Poch
4. Steven Gerrard ( I know I know)
5. Frank Lampard
6. Conte (was my number 2 but dropped down after my 10 mins tbh)

edited to incl ten Hag.
