…bits of blue for Martinez & Conte but Benitez still out front as far as bookies are concerned.

I must admit I have just backed some long range outsiders. Got Dyche early on at 45's, Galtier at 30's. Took some of Martinez's at 28's and did Duncan last night at 28's. While none are favourites if they move away from Benitez/Nuno I think I've got plenty of value there (Dyche aside). If there's no announcement by tomorrow evening I may well do a little bit on Ten Haag and Garcia at 33's. I also think if Potter drifts some more from 25's he's worth a bit of a punt.

Agreed, we are in this mess due to chopping and changing managers and providing them with a big budget to spend on ‘their’ players, no wonder we don’t have a style or identity.

I think the closest we came to a style and identity was under Silva. I actually think he was massively unlucky in his last season with injuries and we failed to get a striker in and the CB he requested to replace Zouma and also Doucoure in.

it completely fell apart for him, but there was legitimate reason such as injuries. He had a shocker really with them, especially to key players.

He was much better than Martinez and Koeman IMO and looked to be building something long term.

should we have been patient and give him another season in hindsight? Then strengthened the weakened areas in the TW.

Brands wanted to keep Silva the most but I think he threw the towel in. Think his longest managerial stint is with us so says a lot

Absolute state of the “royal blue” podcast, particularly Prentice and Buckland. Defending Rafael all the way and clearly keen on having him as boss.
Got to tread a fine line though.. Can hardly be seen to condemn the club's decision (as it's apparent a significant proportion of the fans are up in arms) but also can't be seen to be in favour of him. Not a nice place to be - being asked your opinion - when you have zero influence anyway.

Well thats hardly a crime, trying to appoint good managers. As I said, they did not do well but went onto bigger and better things. It really is not Mosh at fault for these things
no he has no plan, no actual ideas - just throwing money at whoever pops into his head next.

that is the definition of negligence.

the fans , me included want instant success and it ain’t happening. We also throwing names out left right and Center for the next manager. Get a stable manger who has won things and knows how to win. Ever week the fans all want a different manager because the name sounds fancy, half of us have never heard of them till their mentioned and then it’s like they are the best for the job

let brands do his job and we get behind who ever it is

We’ve just had one of those critters and he could barely scrape a home win :pint2:

Then just tell the true, no point sitting on the fence. Gav Buckland said Benitez is a better coach the Carlo. I’m sure he isn’t

Whole things a bit weird for me. We’ve agreed in principle with 2 managers everything. Contracts/Staff but then said we need to think about it. Just don’t see it. Don’t see why you spend all that time just to say we need to think about it. Either complete wham or our board really are stuck

We agreed Staff with Nuno initially and then there were some niggling issues, rumoured to be the role of Ferguson.

The board haven't spoken to Nuno for nearly a week now. As they've been concentrating on Rafael.

Nuno is expected to hold talks with Spurs.

One thing I will say is NO to Martinez.

The longing for Martinez on this place is embarassing. The guy was a joke manager. Relegated Wigan, stuck Lukaku on top of Moyes’ team to have a decent season, then decides he knew better and tore that team apart, two bottom half finishes when he had Stones Barkley Lukaku and the best full back pairing in the league. Not to mention the phenomenal 4-0s at Anfield, 6-2 at home to Chelsea, the 3-0 at Southampton where he didn’t make a sub. Turfing Besic off loads of times because he wanted to show to the fans he was in charge. Also bottling two semi finals that we’d got ourselves ahead in. To add to that almost every one of his transfers except Lukaku McCarthy and Barry were a joke.

Why does anyone want this clown back.
