It's about getting the right manager not the bestest sounding name. It's small time to think getting us a big name expensive manager automatically makes us a top 4 club. Conte is a horrible fit for us. I understand why people say it given he's the biggest name but football doesn't work like that.

I don't know who is the answer but we are a team that will need to be a project and Conte is a horrible fit for that. If it was a Pochettino I'd say full steam because he's shown he's a long term manager who knows how to build a team

But I never said I wanted Howe lad. Saying Conte would be a bad fit because he would be a bad fit doesn't mean i want a mediocre manager.

If he came to us he would be coming to us purely for the doe. He would want shed loads of money to spend, loves old players and is liable to walk out at any given moment like Carlo. How could anyone want a Conte after what just happened with Carlo? It's madness

Need to look past the “he’s a blue” aspect as if that’s a qualifying factor. It isn’t.

Eddie Howe has the charisma of a block of mild cheese.

....Lampard - huge intellect (I think he’s got a ridiculously high IQ), deep thinker, from a footballing family, great respect in the game, known globally, will attract players, got Derby the play-offs, managed Chelsea.

Ferguson - Everton running through his veines, feisty, demanding, intense.

I think it’s reasonable Lampard is getting more of a mention.

If we can throw cash at Carlo then i suppose we could throw it at Conte, he tends to go for older players like Carlo though which might not go down well and he is a bit mental at times. He would get results but i doubt it would be great to watch.

He has a bit more energy than Ancelotti. Not a pensioner yet. Plus a title a few weeks ago not like Ancelotti with his last title at Bayern years ago. Even my grand-mother could manage Bayern and win the Bundesliga!

Sportings manager is Amorim whose my 2nd choice after Gallardo

Amorim has done very well, but he is very young isn't he? Only had a couple of seasons of management?

Even if we know that he never stays for more than a couple of years and it's not enough.
