Just out of curiosity and to increase my current state of somewhat mild arousal - IF Benitez gets the job what would he need to do out of the following to get you personally on side with him?

1. Win a trophy
2. Qualify for Europe
3. Win a Goodison Derby
4. Win a Anfield Derby
5. None of the above
Win the league at Anfield and at the full time whistle go up to the kop drop his pants and do a windmill while giving them the middle finger, then I'll accept him.

If he ever manages to walk past a Greggs without getting an erection I'd at least be able to look him in the eye.

And he supposedly gave a random person the 6 winning numbers on the Spanish lottery , my god were getting desperate to hit him always, when are we blaming Covid on him and Trump losing the last election

….despite your best efforts, you’ll just have to accept Benitez isn’t a very popular choice.

He’ll just have to put that in his Blog & smoke it.

He’s just an undesirable character who’s bad at football management, nobody is going overboard here
I understand that but people are trying to find anything to hit him with with the word "supposedly" and to be honest you cant say he's bad at football management, his record although in the passed is up with many and more than most of the ones we have been linked with again not my number one choice but its getting a bit OTT with the slagging off for someone who hasnt even got the job

That Mersey Ferry tour.
With Gerry and the pacemakers blasting out.
Kenwright waiting for him at the Pier Head.
Then a stroll to Liver Buildings.
Liver birds lit up Red and then turning Blue.

They should pay me for these ideas.
Hopefully the firework they sent up there on their title winning celebrations has been sat there waiting to go off like an old unexploded bomb.
Goes off, hits the liver bird, falls on Benitez’s fat sweaty carcass, game over.

not my number 1 choice by any means but it needs to be a balanced discussion not lets make up every bad thing we can think of from his passed were people don't have concrete evidence that's its true but are spinning everything to paint a worse picture than it is

I think it would be extremely naïve to suggest the reports of Rafael being close to the job are just speculation - as much as i'd love that to be the case. If it wasn't true, the club would ensure the press know it but that doesn't seem to be happening.

They have neither confirmed nor denied any other press story, I think they are on complete radio silence until the decision is made. FSW has loads of media chums, it will be them pushing the agenda for him.

Anyway it will be more fun when he isn't given the job, if they maintain a dignified (if not frustrating) silence.
