Looks like Li Tie is out unfortunately. Planning for the world Cup. Missed out there.

This GoT day started well. Mentions of Li Tie and Preki. It can only go downhill from there .

I find it crazy that people are talking about seriously being ‘done’ with Everton, not renewing their tickets etc if Benitez gets the job.

he called us a small club 15 years ago. Let’s move on. We are currently a mid table team.

if you don’t want him because he doesn’t play great football, fine but we haven’t played good football since Martinez first season. So that’s not a reason to be done either.

I find it worrying that in this snowflake age a growing number of people can’t accept any thought that differs from their own. It’s Orwellian.

For the record, I personally don’t care what he said 15 years ago. Just banter.
I don’t care that he’s ex Liverpool. I’d take Klopp tomorrow.

I‘ve just had my fill of bad management. I didn’t want Koeman or Allardyce or Silva.
Benitez is a spent force. What’s he done in the last 10 years?
He a whining fat **** who if he was from Accrington, wouldn’t get a look in.
I would much rather we went for Dyche over Benitez any day of the week.

I personally think Moshiri should have backed Martinez. I know that’s not popular on here, I don’t care. I‘d love to see him back. Failing that, I’d take a chance on a young progressive manager like Potter.

If it’s Benitez (or Moyes), I will not be renewing. I’ve got better things to do with my time. 25 years of renewals is enough.

If that’s OK with you?

Should’ve been a summer to build on a promising at times season and flush more of the dossers out the club and show our few good players that we’re trying to improve, instead bringing in fat whack has confirmed we’ve given up, the dossers get another year and our good players will be jumping ship if not this summer next. we’re fast tracking our demise to being a bottom half of the table side with this appointment

We need an applause reaction for posts like this.

Thoughts on Rafael?

Why wait? Just because he managed Liverpool years ago? No wonder we’re known as bitter blues! Wasn’t my first choice but I’d give him my support, it’s the club you support not the manager. Love the way people on here think they know how to run a football club better than these clueless billionaires
I mean, just because they are billionaires, doesn't mean they have any clue about running a football club (evidenced by the last 6 years).

People have expertise in different areas. Just because I'm considered an expert in what I do, doesn't mean I can just go and do something entirely different.
