I agree with Rudolf if it was Rafael then he would have been appointed by now, it has to someone either on his hols at present or a manager from the Euros.

Maybe they're stringing Rafael along as a fall back option if they can't get who they really want (whether at the Euros or not).

They know he's desperate and will take it no matter what.

There's something delaying them just giving him the job anyway.

For the young bhoys Lukaku is the only world class player we've seen mate.

It was an absolute pleasure watching the bloke - nothing better than having a genuine elite level striker leading the line.

I get that to an extent. I was too young to really get the 80s teams so I had the era that followed to base me in plenty of reality but it's a matter of basic self respect. Loving Lukaku is akin to taking back your fit missus after she cheated on you.

I find it worrying that in this snowflake age a growing number of people can’t accept any thought that differs from their own. It’s Orwellian.

For the record, I personally don’t care what he said 15 years ago. Just banter.
I don’t care that he’s ex Liverpool. I’d take Klopp tomorrow.

I‘ve just had my fill of bad management. I didn’t want Koeman or Allardyce or Silva.
Benitez is a spent force. What’s he done in the last 10 years?
He a whining fat **** who if he was from Accrington, wouldn’t get a look in.
I would much rather we went for Dyche over Benitez any day of the week.

I personally think Moshiri should have backed Martinez. I know that’s not popular on here, I don’t care. I‘d love to see him back. Failing that, I’d take a chance on a young progressive manager like Potter.

If it’s Benitez (or Moyes), I will not be renewing. I’ve got better things to do with my time. 25 years of renewals is enough.

It will take this long because Everton are massive mugs and will be paying him through the nose as he somehow twists it around that we need him more than he needs us.

He shouldn't be on any more than 3m a year but watch it get announced that he's getting paid about 9-10m a year with other bonuses included

This is where a thumbs up just isn't enough . This is the best idea I've heard since my missus proposed a 48 hour escape room when Everton get beat. Rafael doesn't sound like a bad call now .
