it's not going to make the reaction any easier. They'd be better advised, if this is the decision they're making to just bite the bullet and announce it. Get the fume over with and get the focus back on improving the squad.
100% mate, if it is him, grow some balls announce it and quickly get on with signing players as fast as possible to take the heat off.

The longer this takes the worse next season is going to be IMO

Also behave yourself calling Jonjoe Shelvey an England international (it so happens he managed to get his 5/6 caps after he left FSW's Liverpool). And playing in the Premier League is no barometer of a great player, you as an *cough* Everton fan should know this.
He was also 18 when signed, hasn't had a cap in 6 years, and his international games were games like San Marino in qualifiers and not in major tournaments.

(In fact his games were San Marino x2, Lithuania, Switzerland and then friendlies against Spain (1minute) and France(11 mins). Not good enough for tough or important games though.

He’s been offered about twice the salary for a job round the corner from his house.

Tough decision I’m sure for the fella.
I reckon if we do a crowdfunding thing for the flight to Italy,it would reach target in record time.
Edit I'll pay it myself, business class.

We need to get a shift on, to make the new Rafael banner, something similar to this now defunct Carlo one takes time, if they dont hurry up the new manager unequivocal support banner wont be ready for the start of the season

I agree, but I suspect they are working on a signing as well, in the hope they can announce them at the same press conference to take some heat out of the announcement, a sort of good news/bad news kind of thing. Maybe that Brazilian lad at Sporting Lisbon?

It's that kind of thinking though that baffles me. Rather than rushing to get a signing in the door to take the heat off the fans reaction to the new manager, appoint a differed manager that won't cause such division and outrage.

Ah well, I'm becoming slightly numb to it now. I'll never back him at this club.
