Well if you would have said to me 12 months back that David Moyes would finish 6th with West Ham over Carlo Ancelotti's Everton I would have laughed in your face.

In other words lets see what the fella can do next season before crying that we are already relegated...
I actually put a post up mate comparing Moyes current work to that of Carlo after 2/3 of the season , if I remember correctly , and got absolutely ripped mate !
I agree with you , there is no chance of us getting relegated , we may not like the fella, but we all want Everton to do well. If he is appointed , then by definition we want him and us to do well , so we need to get behind him

By telling them they are not part of his plans. Provided Moshiri backs him in the transfer market, buy players in their positions and make it perfectly clear they have no future at the club. If they choose to stay and pick up their wage so be it, just do not have them near the first team squad.
A manager with a backbone can make it perfectly clear whether they are part of the squad or not.
Like Bolassie and Besic you mean.

i woudnt waste my time waving a banner when others will stick them on goodison for me, he shouldn’t be anywere near everton football club

I agree mate. He shouldn't. But that's as clear as day to like 99% of Evertonians so why isn't it clear to Moshiri, Brands, Kenwright, Baxendale et al? It's too easy to focus our anger on the obvious pantomime villain that us Benitez rather than question the billionaire who wants to build us a new stadium.

Unbelievable that people can sit there from their perch instructing others to back the manager, when we are talking about a man who has cynically and shamelessly successfully lobbied/conned Usmanov/Moshiri just so he can secure himself another cushy number.

the majority can see what Benitez’s real motivations are and add to that his past associations and failures it’s no wonder we are disgusted

As blues we are known for our restraint and our patience. The fans will no doubt get behind the guy if he becomes a blue. Unless something terrible happens and we end up fighting relegation he will be supported like any other Everton manager.
Sadly some sections of our fan-base have become kopite-esque in their behaviour and might well not support our new manager.

According to sky gonna announce it on Tuesday, funny England game then wow. They said don Hutchinson said it will end in tears.

For a brief few hours when I was Chang'd out of it earlier I forgot this was a thing. Then my dad sent me a sky sports screenshot of his imminent appointment and it's ruined my entire night. Ruined my 58 year old dad's night more though - Rafael ain't accepted by any of this fanbase.

I will never wish failure on Everton, but I will struggle to ever properly support us with FSW in charge.
