there is no arguing with this, I cant believe some of the blerts on here thinking we are a regular top six team, we have the potential to be, but that's all it is, and like it or lump it, Rafael is the best we can do at the moment.
We had a Hollywood manager, and he dropped us first chance he got, and the definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again but expecting a different outcome
We literally just finished 31 points above relegation. 31 points. But now you would have us believe that avoiding relegation is a laudable achievement with the exact same squad. Presumably you thought the only thing keeping us up was Bolasie and Besic's presence on the training ground.

P.S. Moshiri clearly considers Benitez to be a "Hollywood manager", so is he insane?

Edit - just realised you only joined this month, now I understand where your views come from.

Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Valencia, Napoli and Inter all with better squads than our current crop.

I think he averaged 2.2 per season at Chelsea

If our fans dont wake up we are in trouble this season. Look how competitive the top 11-12 sides were last season - all it takes is 2 of the 3 coming up to have a Sheff Utd type season and we look over our shoulders if the clubs toxic and Goodison isnt a fortress.

We got beat at home last season by 20th Sheffield Utd and our "best player" was trying to get himself sent off as he wanted nothing to do with the fight.

Forget the manager - we need better stronger faster players and quickly otherwise it doesn't matter who the manager is. We are miles behind the likes of Leicester we have to build the foundations and that starts this summer.

Exactly, a good point, although I didn't summarise it on the initial post think it's likely we'll end up with something around the performance averages we've had since Moshiri came in. In other words crap.

If FSW comes in and, as expected, is a boring dirge then I can blame him for still being 10th or lower at Christmas.
If he’s then sacked I’m wondering who we got to then at that latest reset.
Maybe a young up and coming manager…. (ground hog day) or Mourinho….

If he wins something then great,
