By appointing Benitez, the board have shown they have the biggest pair in the entire world. If Benitez does actually sign, he has also shown he has a rather large pair, given how idiots have put that banner up on his neighbours house.

Again, Benitez is not my fist choice (or even any choice), but having a mashoosive pair of gonads may prove useful when dealing with our crap team, the media and everything anti-efc.
Literally read the next part of what I said where I acknowledge this and point out that if they had shown more balls in supporting a plan rather than doing it to alienate a large chunk of their own fans they might have had more joy.

There is more than 3 managers in the world, the board haven't turned up and said " Yano what lads that foreverblue92 is the biggest bestest blue ever, let's build him a stadium', it's getting built for THEIR benefit not mine or yours

So why aren't Spurs appointing these top class managers?

Why aren't Palace?

Why hasn't any club in Europe given flavour of the month Gallardo a gig if he's so great?

All the evidence points towards a lack of available quality on the manager front this summer and instead of begrudgingly accepting that they would rather cry, stamp feet, put up abusive and threatening banners outside the ground and some blokes house and will likely ruin next season before it even begins.

12 months ago we couldn't get to the ground you would think some people would have become more humble since this pandemic I know I have I now appreciate being able to get down to GP and watch the team live.

The owners are building the ground as an investment but we benefit - what would you rather move out the city under Bill to some Tesco carpark?

Some posters I used to think were sound are showing themselves up as being right entitled clowns in this thread.

"Ripping the heart out the club"

"Usmanov OUT"

"Boo Benitez we want Guardiola"

Embarassing when the alternatives to Rafael are kin Patrick Viera.

I’m happy for people to see things differently that’s what these boards are all about and I enjoy others peoples perspectives on things.

I mean... the second you make a point on how the board could be seeing things and give your take on it as to why they are looking at hiring him people assume you are all for the appointment and believe that you think there’s no other candidates out there that could do the job. Full teeth being pelted and froth everywhere lol

So why arent Spurs after FSW?

Because he is a spent force and a useless waste of space, just our board that dont seem to think so!

if he was that good he would be in the running, he simply is a busted flush and will be found out very quickly and we will ponce again be spunking a shed load of cash to pay him off

How can you not see this

Again there is more than 3 managers, Spurs, Palace I couldn't give a toss about, maybe if I was a super duper bloo like you, I would accept a washed up manager and march around town with a portrait , if the board were building a stadium in Kirkby it would be a new stadium, so by your rules I should be thankful

You can see what an inspired choice this seems by the fact the most fervent Evertonians who are supporting this appointment are doing so either because someone wrote something nasty on a sheet , because literally there is nobody else or advocating he gets £3m for keeping us up. Not to mention one particular person seems to be working himself into some kind of frenzy .

good times .

Even Palace wouldn't touch him but he's the best we can get apparently.

Euro managers doing rather well: Mancini (not available obviously), Danish Bloke (said to be brilliant man-manager).. then there's Lille's manager.. Nothing personal about Benitez (the comment didn't help but there's worse things that happen).. but we could look a little harder and pay a bit more compo to get someone who is still young and interested in sorting out our mess.

Yes mate, you know the more this drags on the more I think we might be secretly holding out for someone who’s at the Euros, does anyone else on here think this??
