Then the board need to grow a pair and give that approach a chance rather than sacking them in a knee jerk reaction. It's weird to me that the hill they have chose to die on is the appointment of Benitez and not supporting a progressive manager trying to change the culture of the club. Don't get me wrong, Silva wasn't that man, Moshiri developed a fixation on him as well for some reason. Any young up and coming manager who turned us down lacks the ambition and vision that we need. I don't believe the narrative that this job is unattractive.
By appointing Benitez, the board have shown they have the biggest pair in the entire world. If Benitez does actually sign, he has also shown he has a rather large pair, given how idiots have put that banner up on his neighbours house.

Again, Benitez is not my fist choice (or even any choice), but having a mashoosive pair of gonads may prove useful when dealing with our crap team, the media and everything anti-efc.

Euro managers doing rather well: Mancini (not available obviously), Danish Bloke (said to be brilliant man-manager).. then there's Lille's manager.. Nothing personal about Benitez (the comment didn't help but there's worse things that happen).. but we could look a little harder and pay a bit more compo to get someone who is still young and interested in sorting out our mess.

You come across as a major apologist for the s***houses and scum that are ripping the heart out of our club

So who do you want soft lad?

Eddie Howe?
Patrick Viera?
Gattuso?

Give ya head a wobble there aint no one better wanting the job.

And LOL the blokes in charge for all their faults are building YOU ALL a world class stadium on the docks - yet that is "ripping the heart out the club".

Short memories some of you lot get back to worshipping Blue Bill selling a once in a generation talent to keep the club from folding.

Problem is those managers might get plenty of offers, our problem is targets wanting us, i dont think anyone does, apart from one man

I literally just answered what I would do in a reply to another of your questions, it's almost as if you don't care about the answers and want to create the perception that there is only one manager in world football who would even consider taking millions of pounds to manage a team in the biggest league in the world.

I have given my reasons as to why I believe certain managers wouldn’t want to touch this club currently. I didn’t say ALL managers don’t want in. You’re mis reading my posts. I am happy to disagree with others and take their answers on board. I hadn’t seen your quoted post at the point of typing my initial posts because it came after I’d posted it.

A lot of agitated people on here today and in general. It’s only a game lads don’t take it all that serious.

In 18 months time when Benitez is moved on we’ll be here again having the same discussions. Such are the joys our club bring us.

Lille’s manager has gone to Nice. Petkovic who manages Switzerland has done a good job. Think he was at Lazio before, not sure how that went but I assume not well lol

Some posters I used to think were sound are showing themselves up as being right entitled clowns in this thread.

"Ripping the heart out the club"

"Usmanov OUT"

"Boo Benitez we want Guardiola"

Embarassing when the alternatives to Rafael are kin Patrick Viera.
