Would the fact he was poor at Chelsea not give out warning signals. A new manager came in and totally transformed them.

Yes it does to an extent but some of the key players on Saturday were players he brought in or brought through. Mount is a top player these days, James was very good, Havertz scored the winner.

We need to find Mason Mount's. There are no shortcuts for us and we will get worse before we get better.

Yes we need a manager who will get the respect of the dressing room and bring through young players. It's not that I actively want Lampard but he's the only person in that mould I can think of.

Short term success is not happening now we've lost the elite manager. This is a long haul now and we need a complete reset. Things will get worse before they get better.
Worked well at Chelsea that Tim

They weren't playin well for him though.
I'd prefer Wayne Rooney

So the fact that he couldn’t coach their top players into playing decent footy means you want him here?

Granted, it sounds like he’d fit like a glove, plus he has experience in the Championship…

I've given the pros and cons. There are obviously both and it's a gamble.

I just don't want the boring old choices with the low ceiling and boring predictability, like your Howe's, Moyes, Dyche's etc.

We need someone to prioritise younger players and making them better. I don't see any shortcut here because there are not going to be any elite managers remotely interested in us.

We need to find the talent first and bring them through. Surely that's why we have a DOF. It's time to prove his worth.

That’s why it’ll be Nuno in all honesty.

I don’t want him, but we’re shafted anyway

....young players have to be good enough to be brought through.

Imagine being happy to replace Ancelotti with a manager Wolves didn't think was good enough to take them forward.
