Well done Everton you’ve tried a lot over the last few decades to make me feel numb about the club but you might have finally succeded.

Never felt so distant, alienated and disenfranchised toward the club.

Alot down through the years I could reconcile with the eternal hope that better might be on the way or at the very least the club reflected integrity and dignity as key values of the club. This decision represents nothing of what the club should reflect or aspire to be.

The manager does not represent what I think our club should be and I just can’t reconcile it. It’s knawing.

Dont know how I‘ll feel when the season starts, but it’s hard at the moment to get excited even over new players, can’t bring myself to back anything to do with this at the moment.

This. If we played tomorrow, I wouldn't watch. Hate feeling like this about the club I love. Hopefully he does something to change it before the season starts.

He doesn't need any help in that department, Rhino isn't exactly running a production line of talent able to force their way into the first team

Think blaming Rhino is massively reductive and makes him a bit of a scapegoat for problems not of his making. We had a manager naming 2 goalies and leaving spaces on the bench empty rather than giving an academy player a chance last year for example.

This is what rubs me the wrong way. This is equivalent to the Friday news dumps I would have to deal with as a reporter. If this is the decision the club is going to make, at least do it with some gusto and stand behind your man in the face of fan opposition. Just makes this already questionable move feel even more tepid in nature.
