We're in June.

But no he's moved on. It was just another job. Not important to him.
 
Got to suck this up now and accept its happening gracefully. At least the echo will hopefully stop the constant line in every article that we are 'looking for our 5th manager in as many years' its so tedius it's untrue!!

Completely agree. It's this weird pretend world that Maddock, @Theoneandonly and several other blimps are peddling where he's left his LFC links behind him that has me laughing. His social media content is full of LFC retrospectives. And we've appointed him lol
 
I believe it's edged ever closer, how close must this appointment be?? If it edge's any closer it will be over the edge!

Weird the way Everton operate these days, not a word from the club on anything ever! Honestly seen some people say that we will turn up against Southampton and he will be just sat in the dugout! Honestly expect this!

People think we’re actually going to announce a player on the same day to take the edge off.

You just have to forget:
  • He managed our rivals
  • Called us a small club
  • His teams play crap defensive footy
  • He hasn't won anything for almost a decade
  • Half or more of our fans hate him
  • The chairman and rest of the board didn't want him
  • He wants complete control over everything, making our useless DoF even more useless
  • He got relegated with Newcastle
  • His last job was just for the money
  • He only wants the job because he lives around the corner
Once you take that out of it then he's a sound choice and we need to get behind him.

I think I get the feeling from this that you aren't in favour of his appointment.
Unfortunately we are just mere customers to the the decision makers and that is football now and when it all goes wrong we will still be there.
 
The bigger problem than his transfers were he nearly bankrupted them and set their academy back 10 years. It was good news for us at the time like but slightly worrying now in hindsight
