1.Play attacking football
2. Be humble
3.Admit your own shortcomings and don't blame anyone else
4. Give young players a chance in the team.
5. Build a young dynamic team
6. Apologise for trying to belittle / humiliate Everton
7. Disavow your membership of the RS cult
8. Lose some weight.
He could win the treble next season, without dropping a point, and playing only Liverpool born EFC academy graduates and I would still hate the man.

IF he managed that, only then would he have my reluctant support, and even then I would still hate him.

This is an appointment with a literal 0% chance of obtaining a positive outcome.

The worry is that it is the sign of an egotistical nob head. Remember Cardiff's owner giving it large and then changing the colour of their kit from blue to red? Or hull's owner giving it large then trying to legally change their club name to Hull Tigers?
But, how much money did they invest in their clubs ?

Moshiri has invested lots of money in players.
He trusted his managers to buy players and certainly lots was wasted.

Of course, he is about to develop a new stadium which is the most significant development at EVerton for probably more than a century.

The money spent last summer seems to have been well invested.
We may be about to make a profit on James.
Allan will have retained his value,Doucoure probably increased his value and Godfrey probably doubled his or more.

The two most profitable were signed by Brands.

To be honest , I have no idea how good of a coach he is but he's a good motivator . Brian Clough wasn't a good tactics man but he provided miracles to a couple of middling sides .
I agree with maybe his legendary status being a tad OTT but I still think he should be thought of fondly .
I'm not one of the Toffeetalk Dunc asskissers , I'm just wondering why Davek dislikes him so .
I agree with your view of Duncan. No real evidence of tactical prowess but certainly a good motivator. The players might just be terrified of him.
I’m not sure I agree with the Clough view though. Outspoken and a bit of a prat at times, but one of the greatest managers of all. His Derby side won the league and played reasonably good football and also reached a European cup semi. His Forest side won the league and two European cups and played some very attractive football. I think a fair bit of that was down to Mr Clough.

I would have Dyche over Potter in terms of this squad.

Some people are picking what type of manager they want without looking at 2 things:

1. Said manager has to work with this squad of players.

2. We haven't the dough FFP speaking to sign 7-8 players and revamp the squad in one season.

Potter trying to teach Doucoure/Siggurdsson/Gomes/Davies/Delph how to string two passes together and get about an open pitch with two tugboats behind them playing a high line would end up the same way it did under Koeman & Silva - bottom 3 and sacked by Xmas.
Oh dear lad...stick to marching up and down your parade ground ....you are quite happy to slag off playera but not the Fat waiter
Go away

You think we have world class managers knocking down our door.

I dont even think Burger King would take you on fella.
Back for the relish, or perhaps the gherkin.
I’ve not said they’re knocking our door down, I’ve said every manager, certainly many more than the poxy 6-7 you keep churning out, are AVAILABLE, because all managers and players have a price and Everton pay handsomely.
Unfortunately, the one we’re about to get is personally knocking our door down because he’s desperate for another payday. I’d much rather have a manager whose door we were knocking down because we had a plan and had done our homework and identified the best man for the job.

Bang me some extra fries on while you’re at it.

But how much did we pay Carlo? and what did we get in return? Nothing
That's not really relevant is it?

The bloke wanted the job, its ideal for him, he is a bit of a busted flush, low ball him a bit.

I don't for one minute think he is on 10M a year though, half that maybe.
