Not buying this 'get behind him' bs. Everton used to be special. In my lifetime we've not won much but we were still a better club than anyone else. This clown doesn't represent me or my club. He'll win nothing, he'll take us backwards and he's a red. And more than that his a red who's dismissed and disrespected us. You want to roll over and have your tummy tickled? Great. Don't expect me or those who despise him to. There's not a person on here who went to the games with him who didn't chant FSW at him. Far as I'm concerned if you go along with this willingly and meekly you're part of the problem. And that's aimed at anyone who's going along with this silently. If you don't agree with me that's no problem, and I'm too upset to debate, but to me, this is a betrayal of the highest order. RIP my once beautiful, special club. I'll miss you.

Completely agree. Beneathus isn’t fit to manage our great club, his appointment is a stain on our history and he’ll be getting pelters and no support from me from day one.

I was genuinely optimistic for the first time in years after the first few games of last season and now it’s all this.

I get it, support the club and people through thick and thin etc. I’m not like that tho, I get fed up, angry at people, bored of things flattering to deceive time and time again. Honestly, I can’t stand the custodians of the club, that’s my fault more than anything, I let them cloud my opinions, there’s always something , always a issue, backwards steps. There are clubs who have it worse , course they do, I don’t care about them tho as selfish as it comes across.

To be clear I don’t want the manager to fail , I’m not interested in petty point scoring, who’s right and who was wrong, It’s not in me to support everyone within that club tho, too much has gone on in the past for me to do that. When they sit there as smug as they do at AGMs it’s awful to see and hear.

Being too emotionally invested over the years hasn’t done me any good at all.

I was really, really hoping something fundamental about the club would change when Moshiri took over and we'd become a slick, modern football club. Instead, somehow we've managed to take the worst bits of corporate football and blend them with the amateurism that's riddled the club for so long. Only Everton.

I hope Rafael, proves all the naysayers wrong. If things go badly he will not last a full season. I remain optimistic though that he will make a reasonable job in clearing up the mess left by Carlo the Rat. Come on you Blues.
