It sucks. This was a big opportunity. We wasted it. And not only did we waste it, but we did it in a way that is going to make the whole club toxic (or more toxic I guess?). It's just such a mess and somehow Moshiri has managed to find himself in the firing line on this. I can't see it working the same as I couldn't really see Carlo working because he just isn't what we need.

It'll be the first time since I started supporting the club that I won't be that excited to start the season and that's just really disappointing more than anything else because I really do love it.

Moshiri has invested lots of money in players.
He trusted his managers to buy players and certainly lots was wasted.

Of course, he is about to develop a new stadium which is the most significant development at EVerton for probably more than a century.

The money spent last summer seems to have been well invested.
We may be about to make a profit on James.
Allan will have retained his value,Doucoure probably increased his value and Godfrey probably doubled his or more.

The two most profitable were signed by Brands.

Vincent Tan invested a fair bit relatively speaking for Cardiff.

The Benitez appointment is our red kit moment. (Well until we have our actual red kit moment anyway)

I'm really not - Usmanov/Moshiri knows more about the inner workings of the club more than any of us on here or Twitter.

We can criticise the appointment if it proves to be a failure. Until then nothing we can do but back the club.

Not buying this 'get behind him' bs. Everton used to be special. In my lifetime we've not won much but we were still a better club than anyone else. This clown doesn't represent me or my club. He'll win nothing, he'll take us backwards and he's a red. And more than that his a red who's dismissed and disrespected us. You want to roll over and have your tummy tickled? Great. Don't expect me or those who despise him to. There's not a person on here who went to the games with him who didn't chant FSW at him.
