I think he has under estimated the consequences though. I'm betting he will not be able to attend goodison to watch his "plaything" if RB goes on a bad run of results. It can become a horrible place and he might not realise this until it's too late.

Any abuse he gets is on him and this insult of a managerial appointment.

I had a quick look through that list , it seems to me an awful lot bought for the academy,

Certainly a few turkeys

Some excellent signings, probably none better than STERLING for 500,000.

I would say about average for a Premiership manager.

I would guess his net spend would be low .
His overall purchases amounts to 231,000,000 but I guess the sale of Sterling and Torres alone brought in in excess of 100,000,000.

No chance mate, he'll be gone within 12months.

Yet more time wasted by horrific ownership decisions and appointments. It's completely inexplicable and only gonna end one way. Even if he hadn't said what he had and been where he'd been, it would still be a horrendous appointment. He's a manager from the past. Football has moved on massively from his defensive, passive set ups.

Personally I've moved on from when he was their manager. Plenty of players have played for both clubs, some were given a bad reception but they were professional about it like Benitez will be. All I care about is Everton playing some decent football again. If he gets us doing that, great. If he doesn't, then he will go, and we'll get someone else in.

I want to see the club do well.

So do we all, unfortunately all of the current board, the soon to be appointed manager, the DOF, the scouting network and the coaching set up need to be binned off for that to happen!
