According to The Transfer Window podcast from Wednesday, the rat ancelotti approached Madrid to explain his availability and willingness to jump ship.

horrible fat rat
Mourinho was contacted first according to one media outlet, which is odd as he wasn’t really liked there by the fans.
They are looking quite desperate for such a big club.

He’s young, hungry, tactically brilliant in how he sets his teams up. He’s innovative in his approach to coaching

He’s won everything in South America on a very small budget.
There’s nothing left to win there!

He is worshipped like a god by the players and fans alike.

He has all the attributes and more to make him a success in the EPL
Hungry and innovative ?
A winner ?
Doesn't seem like a great fit does it ?
While I have had my head turned to this prodigy , I doubt our board have any imagination like the Leeds board had when they appointed their madman and that's a damn shame .
I fear we will go with the easy appointment of NES .

5 weeks before players return for pre-season, so all the talks about Nuno being the front runner or Moyes being considered are just media frenzy, I was just reading that we received over 40 CVs for the position in the first 24 hours and Brands taking his time and considering them all, so what i think is happening is that we are interviewing the likes of Nuno and many others in the coming few days, some of those names will be leaked to the media, many won't.

No front Runners or anything like that, by the end of next week things should start to get serious, for now, it's just interviewing as many people as we can

If Poch does want out at PSG and Conte is going to Spurs. Could Kean form part of the negotiation, he clearly doesn’t want to come back to us

Cant see us getting Pochettino unless PSG can find a good enough replacement but I have a feeling we could approach Zidane (which would be a risk as even I could win something managing Real Madrid).

But would tick the box in terms of being a big name appointment for Moshiri and would win the fans over.

Saying that Zidane could go PSG and Poch could then come here who knows really just hope its sorted sooner rather than later.

Like alot of "top" managers perhaps he can only do well at a club already at the top..

Zidane wouldn't in a million years come to Everton, he'll hang around doing nothing untill another success ready club gives him a bell.

Martinez - Koeman 33 days
Koeman - Allardyce 37 days
Allardyce - Silva 15 days
Silva - Ancelotti 16 days
Ancelotti - ? average 25.25 days

New manager by 26 June.

It was a massive shock last time with the Carlo appointment. I hold hope we might appoint another world class proven manager again.

I hope we don’t to be honest. Unless we have the finances to back them we’ll be peeing in the wind again. Pretty much made Ancelotti the highest paid manager in the league and then gave him the same amount of funds we gave Sam Allardyce.

We aren’t ready for managers like that unfortunately, we just don’t have the resources. I think it’s another big lesson learnt for Moshiri.

There has been talk in the media that Moshiri made it clear to Ancelotti that he wasn’t pleased with results and performances in the run in and that Ancelotti felt he might get shown the door.

On Day 3 of churning things over in my mind, today I'm with Lampard, Martinez, Potter, and Kovac as those I wouldnt mind in the job.

I would be hugely disappointed with Moyes / NES. I'm hoping those links are just deliberate misleading briefing from the club to journos, I think they are exaggerated.

Although we don't have much time, it's better to take 2 weeks or so. I think we'll have someone in place by mid-month.
