....certainly not to be taken seriously but whoever is appointed will go long odds-on prior to announcement.

I like a bet but this is a market I couldn’t get drawn into, especially as the winner might not be in the list quoted. Saying that, I did have a very small interest in AVB @ 40-1 at the outset, not because i like him but I recall his odds significantly contracting ahead of Ancelotti being appointed.

You lot saying "DUNC IS THE MAN", good lord I hope you are seriously joking. The man has had 4 matches in charge of a senior club in his life. This isn't Arsenal where we laugh at how terrible Arteta is doing with a relatively good squad. He'd be out before the year ends. If he wants to manage a club he needs to manage a club in the Championship or League 1. Absolutely no way should we be hiring someone to manage us with 0 managerial experience.

That's a good point, like we did play well at Spurs but they were off it, not necessarily us forcing them off it.

Think we shocked them first game of the season because we didn't roll over as usual, looking back it was possibly our most convincing display.

The vast number of disparate managers we are being linked with seems a reflection of the fact that we seem clueless and without any identity! any of them might 'fit' at Everton as we dont have a style for them to fit into. Frightening!!
