A roller coaster goes up and down. We're more of a slideAppreciate the reply, supporting Everton is such a frustrating rollercoaster.
Dunno, they were up top half of the table first half of the season, playing high tempo pressing football, fell away when they got injuries. Small squad. They’ve embarrassed us last few seasons we’ve played them.good job? he battled relegation with them this season and most of their fans want him out.
Has he not?Has he?
Has he not?
Again, I don't think you're really understanding the point. I'm not saying the players aren't crap, but that doesn't mean that the 'just play' thing doesn't have any truth to it. What you're saying can - very obviously - also be applied in reverse, if you don't want to blame Ancelotti then you can put it down as mischief making. One is no better than the other.
Martinez was 4 (permanent) managers ago, so I assumed you were going back that far with you saying 4. I think counting Allardyce is a bit disingenuous because nobody 'saw him off', he was a short term appointment who wasn't getting the job regardless. Even counting Koeman is harsh on a load of them because they only played about 10 games under him, they hardly had time to pick tools up nevermind put them back down. As I said, 12 of the last squad we picked have only played under 2 Everton managers, 6 of them only under 1. Every time a manager fails everyone says 'these lot all threw x under the bus too' and every time it isn't true.
I wouldnt be against Pirlo. Didnt think he did too badly at Juve....
He did really well with the young players and i think they need to recycle a lot of players in their squad.
Reckon he would do well if Brands went for young player recruitment.
The mentions of his tactics and training aren't far off at all from what's been said about him at previous stops by the likes of Drogba, et al. I believe it.That Athletic piece: typical hackery from ex Echo chimps sent out to blackguard a manager that the club want to vent against.
I have no regard for Ancelotti concerning this walking out - and I wanted him gone at the end of the season anyway - but these hacks really take the biscuit. They also want to keep in with the players at the club....you know, the ones that couldn't be arsed turning up for the past few months, so they leave in a juicy arse covering line for them about Ancelotti saying "just play".
If I was Ancelotti after 18 months with them I'd have been telling them to "just eff off".
He’s also been pumped 9-0 in a game two seasons on the bike Liverpool getting pumped 7-2 by Aston Villa. If you play a high line and no pressure on the ball, you’re asking for trouble. That’s one thing about a manager with a clear identity...they don’t change even when it isn’t working. Was very frustrating under Bobby Martinez. It’s a tough one, you get a pragmatist like Ancelotti who doesn’t have a set style and people moan because there isn’t an identity. You get someone with an identity and people non because they don’t ever deviate from that.
Its Southampton mate, they hardly invest, do they? They’re taking Theo Walcott, our cast offs, that’s what he’s working with. Anyway, Santo seems to be fairly popular and he’s not finished much better with Wolves who’ve chucked a lot more money at it.I don't really count a 15th place finish including a 9-0 defeat doing well. Might just be me.

He seems to rely on his son now the way he relied on Clement. The mentions of his tactics and training aren't far off at all from what's been said about him at previous stops by the likes of Drogba, et al. I believe it.
We would look massively hypocritical if we did this. Koeman and Silva were both 'poached' from smaller clubs and we had a good old laugh at Watford fans when they turned up at Goodison with their toy snakes.Im sure the club could still speak to the fans regardless, silence just feeds nonesense rumours. Why cant they slam Carlo in public for walking out, seems odd we didnt fight to keep him. Why havent we taken Real to court for poaching. We just act so weak its embarrasing.
There are very few clubs whose managers would not jump at the chance to take over at Real Madrid. Very disappointed about how it all happened but nothing you can do about it.We would look massively hypocritical if we did this. Koeman and Silva were both 'poached' from smaller clubs and we had a good old laugh at Watford fans when they turned up at Goodison with their toy snakes.
Like it or not, there is an order of merit in football, and any ambitious manager will jump at the opportunity to manage a club higher in that order, regardless of their contract or how long they have been at a club. We know that, and have used it to our advantage plenty of times. We have also seen it in action with Moyes and now Ancelotti. We can't pick and choose when it applies.
That only goes down lolAppreciate the reply, supporting Everton is such a frustrating rollercoaster.
