They honestly aren’t. They’re Liverpool-related shouts, which I get bothers people, but they have experience of managing - successfully in some cases - at a decent level.

Dunc is a blind shout from some who naively believe that a bit of passion and knowledge of the club is an acceptable substitute for man management and tactical acumen.

They are worse shouts because they would be on a hiding to nothing. The fans would not accept them and they would be doomed as soon as we lost 2 on the bounce.

Need to be sensible with these things, they would be terrible appointments.

I am not advocating for Ferguson at all by the way but if worst came to worst and he was appointed he would at least be given a bit of a chance by the fans unlike the other two.

If Conte came here I`ve no doubt he would certainly make this team competitive with a few additions. Unfortunately we wont get him or anyone that level because we are Everton. As everyone knows Everton arent allowed to to have nice things.....

We’ve had the manager of one of the top international teams in Martinez.
We’ve had the current manager of Barcelona and now the current manager of Real Madrid all within the last few years and we’re still gash.

We need a manager who wants to be here for 5 years and build a team with us. I cannot stand the word ‘project’ but we deffo need a style of play and an identity.

Way I see it is if we have a manager here for 5 years more than likely they are doing a bang average job.

We shouldn't be afraid of elite clubs looking at our players or manager it means we are doing something right.

Like Moyes ?

LOL

Moyes done a good job with the limited budget but ultimately he never succeeded.

With the money we are throwing around if our manager is here in 5 years it means more than likely we haven't won diddly squat or cracked the top 4 as otherwise a top club would poach them thats the way it goes.

We shouldn't be going out of our way to actively bring in a lesser manager just so we can have some secure few years of mid table stability.

Good. As much as people will panic there really isn't that much of a rush. As long as they're here to start preseason.

Thats fine as long as the new manager is not going to be the key person making decisions on who comes in and leaves the club.

I am expecting everything to be on hold until we get a manager and that wouldnt be ideal.
