If Conte came here I`ve no doubt he would certainly make this team competitive with a few additions. Unfortunately we wont get him or anyone that level because we are Everton. As everyone knows Everton arent allowed to to have nice things.....

What like the previous manager we had that has far more trophies to his name?

Thats fine as long as the new manager is not going to be the key person making decisions on who comes in and leaves the club.

I am expecting everything to be on hold until we get a manager and that wouldnt be ideal.
Brands should be doing most of the work and while I wouldn't want signings made pre-manager a lot of the ground work can be done

Moyes done a good job with the limited budget but ultimately he never succeeded.

With the money we are throwing around if our manager is here in 5 years it means more than likely we haven't won diddly squat or cracked the top 4 as otherwise a top club would poach them thats the way it goes.

We shouldn't be going out of our way to actively bring in a lesser manager just so we can have some secure few years of mid table stability.
Who’s sniffing round Klopp ?
No one.

He’s built a side and spent money ( don’t tell the reds he’s spent any though )

He was hired on the back of a shocking season at Dortmund as well btw.

Really though? I'm by no means a Moyes lover but surely success is relative and he nailed it in spades.
Relagation transfer budgets and he firmly established us as 'best of the rest'.
I would have took that last year.

Also, no, I don't want him back. He burned that bridge.

Liverpool are an elite team mate we are not unfortunately.

Unless FFP is scrapped completely and we can buy our way into the elite our best hope of success is hiring an elite manager cracking the top 4 or winning a trophy and hoping we get a few years out of them before them inevitably moving on to pastures new.

Thats football management in general these days - very few managers stop around clubs for as long as the likes of Moyes did at us hence why most clubs have DOF's these days who act as the long term stability.

We shouldn't let Carlo being a lazy floozy scare us out of having ambition to appoint the best possible manager we can attract.
