NoI don't want him, and it could never happen, but manages one of the biggest clubs in the UK, whose name carries a bit of clout, is a winner and motivator, knows the area and wouldn't take any messing round. Current manager of rangers.
What did I say that's "off base" mate?
Sure the Italian Lampard thing was a jab like but still. I'm not wrong in the other stuff.
I dont want him mate.
Btw that team he "inherited" needs a total rebuild , he done quite well tbh.
Just someone asked...i just supplied the stats , its pretty easy to find or watch him and his team.
Not come on here.... whats he done why him?
Again....i didnt say i wanted him.
Zat touched on it a little, our wide attacking options are all mostly Aids, very, very bad Aids.
Realistically we need a RW and LW, cos none of the options are worth a spot.
Hamez of course, but he cant be relied upon sadly and personally I see him being moved on.
So 1 way to solve the lack of wide options, is to just not use them.
But Outs will determine Ins, as I keep saying, numbers wise, RB aside, we are sitting on a good number of players, we simply need to remove bad players and replace with good.
Potter looks like he fiddles cats
Here is a snippet of Brighton fans thoughts on him going to Tottenham from a forum
Would love to watch Spurs Twitter when they only win once at home in a year.
Tottenham interested in employing the manager of a team currently laying 17th in the table after fighting a relegation battle all season, yeah right.
don't think Potters stock is anywhere near high enough yet to get such a high profile job, added to the fact he's not really foreign enough.
No Prem team will be looking to take Potter off our hands just yet, not while we sit 17th in the league. They will be looking to see if our 'he needs a decent striker' theory is correct. If we sign a clinical striker in the summer to put away all these chances we create and then finish next season in the 10th to 13th bracket then you may see interest from bigger teams
Potter could have a career earning millions without achieving anything significant in the game it happens sometimes. Had a bit of success in Sweden in a pub league, mid table finish with Swansea relegation scrap with us then on to Spurs for £8m a year
Hugely underwhelming if it’s potter, His team play pretty football but lack substance, can’t see many players wanting to sign for him or stick around for him either, and can he get a grip of these dossers? Doubt it
and he looks like a knock off edmure tully from game of thrones
We aint appointing Pirlo, Conte or Poch.Ive already posted a fair bit about him in this thread...
Ageing squad + loads of injuries + needs a squad rebuild bar 7 or 8 players.
Doesnt look like a title winning side any longer.
He wasnt able to play his own way due to the players he inherited + only finished 5pts off their last season.
Still got top 4 and won 2 trophies with that squad...i think they would have finished around 6th in England based on the players.
I thought he did well and deserved a second season with 3 or 4 more young players added. He did well with the youngsters.
Yeah ive said a few times we should focus on playing through the centre as we dont have the wide attackers and theyre expensive.
You know whose strategy it is to play through the centre?
Pirlo's.
Id have gone with the tramp factor...
im sure there were a fair few who wanted him sacked last Dec or the season before.
Wont attract top players and wont exactly excite the fan base or our current squad compared to Ancelotti.
However if that translates to us building a young team then im fine with a massive overhaul.
The Brighton fan I know says they're happy with him for the most part, apparently they did have that dip in the Winter but the majority of their fans see what he's doing and can see the improvement. He also said that if they still had Hughton, and the way they were playing under him, they'd be battling relegation every year but can see an out with Potter.
But thats the reality .Ey as you said before, I'm just passing on the info.
That being said I do want him out of those mentioned. And if as you say the fans would turn on him after 2 home losses then we should just give up now because that's ridiculous.
We aint appointing Pirlo, Conte or Poch.
I can assure you of that.
I literally plucked his name from Twitter.Yesterday you had Conceicao who then extended his contract.
Can you assure me that Potter wont extend his contract on Monday lol
But thats the reality .
Remember toxic Goodison ( seems a long time ago like )
If its Potter ( apart from Moyes& Rafael ) he would get my full support.
Doesnt mean he's the right man either , if its Brands who brought him in and it goes wrong he will die on his sword too.
Frankly I dont think he is anywhere near good enough for us.
At least Edmure didn’t die...that’s got to me a good omen for Potterand he looks like a knock off edmure tully from game of thrones
Love this forum
on one hand
Conte serial winner is not what we need
on the other
Potter who finished 17th and team can’t hit a barn door is exactly what we need
Lots of photos about with him wearing our kit next to a trophy, could be fated. Spitty as his number two. The dream team.I don't want him, and it could never happen, but manages one of the biggest clubs in the UK, whose name carries a bit of clout, is a winner and motivator, knows the area and wouldn't take any messing round. Current manager of rangers.
