To be fair.
He fits the type of manager we should be going for
Unless you want another one here for the money
Maybe he’s the guy we need.
Better than Nuno or Moyes IMO.

However, it’s a gamble.
Even though he’s done ok at Brighton.
Ancelotti was never sold on us.
Defo would be a step up for him.

How can you say he is better than Nuno or Moyes when every statistic says different.....

Wish people would stop pimping Sean Penn for manager!

The people that want Potter are scared of us actually having any modicum of success.

They long for us to be crap and have crap middle of the road managers forever more because anything that resembles ambition scares them.

Lads it's ok to want better.... Its not a Tory shout.... Everton can and should expect better Greame "Town called malice" Potter.
So we should hire someone with a lot of success right? Maybe someone like Carlo Ancelotti? Because that guarantees we'll finish higher up right?

Agree with this, I`m convinced half of our fan base would be happy back in the 90s and success is just staying in the PL.... Shocking attitude!

As Neville Southall said once, "When the season starts the aim is position No. 1".

Is it any wonder we are where we are....

the thing that will make nuno the most attractive proposition for the owner is the fact that they wont have to pay any compo to get him

does that mean he should be the number 1 candidate obviously not because i imagine that it wouldn't cost a huge amount of compo to get moyes or potter if they really wanted to

The people who want Potter are the ones who can see we need to build ourselves up to competing and not try to do it in one summer. It doesn't mean we want to be midtable forever.
