The only reason people want Potter is they look at his XG, and cream their pants. XG does not win you points! His win percentage is 25%, what has this lad done which is so exceptional that he warrants getting the Everton job? He certainly isnt out performing Chris Hughton his predecessor.......

Some need to give their head a wobble!

We need to go for the best out there, nothings guaranteed but the chances of success are alot higher than taking one of the leagues basement boys. Da`s on here saying Moyes has a glass ceiling yet want Potter who has never had even a mid table finish. Cant understand the thought process!

I am sure Real Madrid are kicking themselves that they missed out on Moyes, imagine having to settle for a three time Champions League winner when you could have had a manager who has won as much as Moyes. But then being a winner doesn’t make you successful.
I think it just underlines that certain managers and jobs are better suited than others.

Just like Pep would flop at Burnley, or Dyche would be rubbish at City. We need a guy with the sort of qualities Moyes had in his day: hard work, dedication to fitness, an eye on long-term building, tireless scouting to get value for money.

Ha ha! Potter's Expected Defeats (XD) comes in at a whopping 75% lol lol

In mid-September 2019, Amorim was appointed at Braga's reserves in the third tier.[33] Three months later, he replaced the dismissed Ricardo Sá Pinto at the helm of the first team on a two-and-a-half-year contract.[34] In his first game in charge on 4 January, he led them to a 7–1 away demolition of Belenenses SAD,[35] and three weeks later won the domestic League Cup final against FC Porto with a last-minute goal from Ricardo Horta.[36]

Amorim became Sporting CP's manager on 4 March 2020 after the sacking of Silas, signing a deal until 30 June 2023 with a 20 million buyout clause.[37] Despite only having two months of top-flight experience, Sporting paid €10 million for his services, the third-highest transfer fee for a manager in history.[38] On 23 January 2021 he won a second consecutive league cup final, against his previous club; both he and Braga manager Carlos Carvalhalwere sent to the stands for arguing with each other.[39]

On 4 March 2021, Amorim renewed his contract for one more year, with an improved release clause of €30 million.[40] On 11 May, following a 1–0 home win against Boavista, he led the team to their first national championship in 19 years.[41]

PLEASE
This is the manager I would be most happiest about maybe because he’s relatively unknown. It’s a risk but one I would take a punt on. Sick of these same names pop up everytime we’re looking for a manager. Do something different this time.

Davies, he brought Pickford back from dropping everything , Richardson got back scoring, Coleman has been better, He got our lot believing they could beat top six teams. He amassed more points than last term under very strange circumstances and with injuries.
You saw different things to me amigo.
On the players you mentioned ;
Davies was never trusted by Ancelotti and has never really kicked on from his debut.
Pickford was abysmal at times last season but at the tail end of the season he improved getting back to his usual standard.
Richarlison played well for about 6/7 games all season.
Coleman remains full of endeavour but still frustrates with his passing and crossing ( as per his whole career).
Generally ;
10th
Lost to absolute dross at home
Away - good results with grinding out 1 goal wins.

Flavour of the week
His XP had them finishing 3 or 5 but they finished 16th surely it can’t be simply down to the strikers missing that many chances
