Going off that chart Southampton ran MORE than City, and West Ham and Leicester ran LESS than us but finished higher, West Brom, Fulham and Sheff Utd all ran more than us and Wolves but will be enjoying championship football next season, there's more to football than legging it everywhere

Less average number of sprints but they covered more sprinting distance

Burnley had less number of sprints but covered more distance.

Only 1 team was less than us on both average sprints and distance and that was Wolves

Wolves fans coming over expressing their love for Nuno. Would mean more to me if I didn't see Everton fans doing the same for Moyes ffs.

This is on Brands to go out and find a proper manager to fit the project. No more failed PL managers please.

Nuno is 47, hardly at the winding down stage and what he’s done already has been pretty good, hard to argue otherwise. He’s actually a couple of years younger than Dunc believe it or not!

Point is, there’s much more to come from him. Whose to say he’s not still learning, and would play exactly the same way here as he has at Wolves? I’d be intrigued to see what he can do with some of the players already here, let alone who he and Brands bring in during the summer.

Did anyone really enjoy watching us play under Ancelotti? Every game was live, so we all sat through it! Get him in, get some dead wood out the door and new players in during the summer and see what happens in August. I always enjoy the early weeks of a new managers rein to see which players he rates, and who he clearly doesn’t. Perhaps we’ll get to see more of the likes of Nkounkou?

I don't want this dragging on for weeks, as we have a hard time getting our house in order each summer at the best of times.

Ragnick would be my punt choice, but if that isn't doable, get Nuno in ASAP.

Pretending to be in for someone like Conte while all the realistic options go elsewhere is a recipe for disaster.
Differen squads, different problems lol lol lol

Spent most of today with a big Wolves fan who echoed what a lot of the Wolves fans who have been kind enough to post on here have said about Nuno:

- Sad to have lost him - would have him back if it was possible
- confident last season was a blip, affected by big injuries, player sales
- also pointed to crazy long season the one before (long europa qualification which started super early), with a very short pre season last summer too
- said also paid price of trying to change system/style this season and it not working well
- concern about basically neve scoring in the first half
- but likes how much they pile forward when they have the ball - very committed and direct when they attack. Not into meaningless possession
- definitely a more defensively minded coach but the football wasn't ugly attacking movies Bert purposeful and dynamic

Unless they are trying to hijack us, given most of them seemed to loathe him and his snoozefest soccer at the end!

Cue Brands ringing up his “friend and brain trust member” Avram Grant!

@Wolves86

How about his style? From what I remember your first 2 seasons in the PL you played some good stuff, but obviously last season is what fans will remember and there were a lot of dull games before Giminez got injured, then you struggled after that and you were as dour as us

They played us at goodison. Think beat us 2 0.

Absolutely brilliant performance. Jiminez, jota ran us ragged.

Best for a long time
