Stop listening to Duncan Castles FFS
I couldn’t the believe how many on Twitter were going mental at the club, when he said we didn’t get compensation. Yet 24hrs later paddy Boyland said we did , ok there’s no guarantee he knows the 100% truth. But I get the feeling him and Greg O’keeth seem a little bit more in the know these days.

And when you Hear boyland, he doesn’t come across a bull shitter just to make himself look important, he seems the type that wouldn’t comment, if he didn’t know.

Dave Prentice ( prenno) who I would guess knows bill very well. Said he’s after Martinez a couple of days ago
Guess it depends who’s actually in charge of this process. You know what, I’d expect disaster but I’d be right behind Martinez in spite of my better judgment because he’s a top bloke.

Personally I’m just completely agnostic on this appointment. Numb from the complete mediocrity we’ve had for the last 30 + years.

There’s no way Moshiri hires a guy he’s previously sacked

And as always, don’t watch betting odds ffs

Lukaku was once about 1/10 to go to Wolfsburg and he ended up here
Betting odds mean nothing really. Mainly influence by media stories.

Genuinely have no idea who’ll be appointed. As I’ve said before I don’t really care as long as the team improves.

Same tbh. I will say there were times during his first season when I thought we were brilliant, a joy to watch plus with a bit more quality we could of been top four. At times we didn’t just beat teams, we outplayed them, pass move , quick interchanges and some great goals. We went to Arsenal and should of won, they couldn’t get the ball off us at times. There was some crap still that season, the away derby a wretched stand out. Overall tho for a first season, I was impressed.

His next two seasons were mediocre and very disappointing, we put him on a pedestal too early also. That big banner of him outside Goodison? No. If anything that should of been a montage of Howard, Harvey, Ball, Catterick, Dean, Young, Nev etc. Whatever happened behind the scenes and what his thinking was, it really went downhill and that’s a real shame.

So many top options... Rangnick, AVB, Martinez, Favre, Benitez, and more, but once again we settle for PL flavor-of-the-month in Nuno.
