That’s was quite a decent Post, but you included flavour of the moth MartinezSo many top options... Rangnick, AVB, Martinez, Favre, Benitez, and more, but once again we settle for PL flavor-of-the-month in Nuno.
how does it taste buddy??That’s was quite a decent Post, but you included flavour of the moth Martinez
I’ve not followed AVB since he left England. But weren’t Marseille 2nd when COVID kicked in last seasonI don't really want Nuno but AVB, Martinez and Benitez are top options??? Wow.
God, what a glowing recommendation...Spent most of today with a big Wolves fan who echoed what a lot of the Wolves fans who have been kind enough to post on here have said about Nuno:
- Sad to have lost him - would have him back if it was possible
- confident last season was a blip, affected by big injuries, player sales
- also pointed to crazy long season the one before (long europa qualification which started super early), with a very short pre season last summer too
- said also paid price of trying to change system/style this season and it not working well
- concern about basically neve scoring in the first half
- but likes how much they pile forward when they have the ball - very committed and direct when they attack. Not into meaningless possession
- definitely a more defensively minded coach but the football wasn't ugly attacking movies Bert purposeful and dynamic
Top options? One who failed at both Chelsea and Spurs, One who failed here once and an ex Kult manager who's been outperformed at Newcastle by Steve BruceSo many top options... Rangnick, AVB, Martinez, Favre, Benitez, and more, but once again we settle for PL flavor-of-the-month in Nuno.
Yes, qualifying them for UCL for the first time in years.I’ve not followed AVB since he left England. But weren’t Marseille 2nd when COVID kicked in last season
Look how his Marseille career ended. Look at his tenures at Chelsea and Spurs. He's had some success in Portugal and Russia. Hardly a top candidate.I’ve not followed AVB since he left England. But weren’t Marseille 2nd when COVID kicked in last season
Going to be tough to find a seasoned manager out there who hasn't failed at least once.Top options? One who failed at both Chelsea and Spurs, One who failed here once and an ex Kult manager who's been outperformed at Newcastle by Steve Bruce
Good point. There's those You / Me personally don't want...even if they may be good enough.
There's those you don't mind (aka no rs connections for one thing)...but may not be good enough.
There's those who might be good enough - but won't or can't come here
Then there's the fact that a lot of the players arent good enough Whoever comes in.
For any number of reasons its a % gamble whoever you pick.
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin
Rien ne va plus, Rodders, rien ne va plus.
He wouldn’t consider Palace with us in the running. Small fan-base, small ground, small budget, small trophy haul, small club. That would be lunacy. Spurs, however...He’s been talking to Palace before us, so maybe he’s been weighing up his options?
