Sorry ment to say one of the most experienced in the league not the obviously.

Why do you keep on saying "its all pie in the sky stuff" like your talking absolute facts? I'm not talking about dunk taking us on to win the treble and Sean bean playing him in the movie.

Until something happens this is all opinion based and this is mine. Just like yours is us battling relegation apparently.

The season after lampard left derby finished 10th 6 points of the play offs btw. Not 1 point above relegation. Ferguson has been a coach for over 7 years now as well.

Ferguson has been a coach and now a assistant manager the final say on starting 11s, training programs and tactics arent his. Hes only allowed to do what the manager tells him to do.

You're right though those players haven't shown up for the 7 years hes been on the coaching staff...apart from coincidentally the 4 games he was in charge. In those 4 games everyone of those players left everything out on that pitch. Even in the last two games when they didn't have much left to give.

I’m not talking facts, but my points are at least based on what’s actually happened and not what you want to happen.

Theres absolutely no evidence to suggest that Ferguson would be able to work with Brands, and be successful, nor would we be able to magic up players from the youth team to work with. Is that Ferguson would actually want to play?

So what you’re saying regarding Lampard is they’ve regressed two years on the run, following his departure?

He can be as experienced as he wants Ferguson, that doesn’t mean he’s a good coach, not that we know anyway, he’s not worth a risk.

Look at the games back, the same players dug in deep, in ugly ways this season under Ancelotti, as we saw with some great away results. Ferguson had the crowd behind him for Chelsea and then it got progressively worse, I’m assuming you didn’t see the Arsenal game, under Ferguson? It was just as dull as what was served up.

As an assistant manager, he’s meant to work along side the manager to ensure the best results for the team, if Ferguson was so good at motivating, surely he’d be helping out his superior, to ensure the players were motivated.

I know what you’re clinging to, but we’d be struggling like mad with Ferguson, he’s not what we need to drag ourselves out this mess.

I don't understand what everton's strategy is. It was widely reported that rangnick was #2 candidate when we got ancelotti. That didn't work out and rangnick is still available. He should've been signed up within hours of ancelotti going.
The board really needs to make it's mind up. Are we going for big name short term acquisitions or are we trying to build for long term success.

Maybe because he is now 62? How long will he have at this level? Do we need a younger coach to build us over three seasons? I'd say yes

Hence we suffered the same fate after his first season with us. He spent the summer of 2014 doing punditry at the World Cup leaving a definite feeling of entering the next season feeling under-prepared.

Ohhhh and throw Mohamed Besic into that failed insane shocking summer an' all:rant::rant::rant:
I don't get all the hate for Besic myself... Cost hardly anything. He was a punt. Some work, some don't. He looked like he might be of been half decent at first.

Signed on the back of his performance marking Messi out of the game.
He talked the talk, but couldn't walk the walk once with us.

What happened in 2011 that got them sniffing around?
If you look at the date it was a deadline day when GOT made you sign up to view the thread. I’ve been lurking longer than that. I am a blue. I’ve seen the N’Zogbia saga, the Mirallas shout coming out of nowhere by DAVIDMOYES.

I was there at Wembley last time we won a trophy as a 14 year old right next to the old tunnel. Standing just inside the tunnel was Barlow, Barrett and Ebbrell (I think) as they were not on the bench. I’ve just turned 40. I want to win something rather than repeat the same mistakes
