Conte in front here.

I would be made up if he arrives.
Another one whose name is uncomfortably close to a certain forbidden word on here. Can't you think of an Englishman we can be comfortable with?
Seriously, Conte would only look at big clubs with certain ambitions as defined so eloquently and publicly by Carlo the Rat. If he has a wife or a woman she would leave him rather than come and live in Formby/Crosby.

Caldy's nice!

22 wins, 29 draws and 34 losses, with the Brighton squad is pretty impressive in my opinion.

When a managers W record is worse than his D & L thats when you know he's a duffer.

I mean Brighton have a few decent players mate - Bissouma, Lamptey, Alzate, Trossard, Dunk, Maupay they ain't a largely championship side like Leeds who Biesla is working wonders with.

How can he be a cone layer and at the heart of it at the same time?

And he was unbeaten in the league when in charge.
He's a cone layer by ability.

He was at the heart of the last 3/4 regimes. Question: how many people do you know who have survived as an assistant manager a few times? I can't think of any. He's basically one of those old retainers that the aristocratic landed families keep out of a sense of obligation.

Potter is underwhelming but he’s done a decent enough job at a club where he’s had nothing to spend and you’d think he’d fit nicely into our hierarchy with Brands calling the shots and Potter just focusing on that coaching

Howe doesn’t really work as a comparison as he spent lots of money (most of it on dross) and still took his team down

Potter has achieved what you would have expected to achieve given his resources

Howe underachieved by comparison

Hence Potter > Howe imo

Potter over cone layer any day of the week.

If the galloot wants the Everton managers job let him do what Potter had to do: pay his dues in other leagues and at other clubs. He's incapable of that though. Too cushy here.

Since 1888, two Everton managers have had a 50% win-rate or better.

Molyneux in 1889 - 1901 and Kendall during his first stent here.

I mean it's not really, is it? 22 wins in 85 matches. Or 22 wins in a two and a quarter seasons. There's nothing impressive about that in any context.

You don’t get it, it’s all because Maupay is the worst striker in the whole world. Just look at his XG and XP, just give him a top striker (hasn’t tried to buy one in two years at the club) and watch him go!

Terry Mac of Newcastle survived a few... His nickname was the black box.
