Lads the bookies don't have a clue. You're losing your heads over something that's actually automated. X amount of bets placed causes the adjustments far quicker than doing anything manually. People saw Potter mentioned in the Athletic this morning and have then gone to Sky Bet for a dabble. If we all put a tenner on big Sam right now he'd be favourite

Dodged a bullet there with Nuno.

No way will Everton appoint Potter... he’s a complete no mark.

Big Dunc will get us into a relegation battle.

It’s got to be someone else!

If Brands wants him I’m not sure what to think because I have zero trust in Brands... however I suppose he deserves a chance to select his own manager and see how he gets on.

I mean in all fairness no matter who we get in they’re likely to be given the bullet or walk within the next 18 months anyway lol Everton aren’t we?

I favour Potter / Rangnick / Amorim / Kovac.

To varying degrees, there is a mixture of potential and/or a sustainable record there.

It's all objective though I agree mate.

Whomever emerges probably won't be to the taste of most of us.

Kovac has done a very good job at Monaco, and given we clearly spoke to him before (he was in the ground for a game I seem to remember) he would be one who would be an option. Amorim I worry about just being a bit too young. He has had a fantastic season at Sporting and a fantastic season and Braga but in a league that is a much smaller one than here. In a lot of ways we would be a great club to take a chance on a future superstar, but I want a bit less risk.

Rangnick is very much my preference. I am a bit meh on Potter.

I'd be looking at Galtier, Favre and Ten Haag myself.

Ten Hag might come into it, it wouldn't be the worst option.

I think he's bound for Spurs now, and they'll see him as underwhelming.

Honestly though would Potter leave Brighton for us?

We're obviously bigger and richer but he seems like he's in full control down there with a squad that suits him.
Brighton have a DoF as well. Our squad better but it depends on how much he likes the project down there because he's got ages on his contract

If thats legit it's a massive move.

….not according to my a/c;
