Couldn't care less what Rafael said about us years ago when he was manager of our rivals. My issue is, he isn't good enough.

Not sure why people are so bothered about what a manager may have said previously when we know from Carlo that they say what people want to hear even when it's all tosh.

Add to that it's a job of convenience for him.

I’m gonna go a bit left field here...

Dave Watson.
Had a good record as caretaker and could be another Joe Royle... a fans favourite returning to manage the club.
He could even have unsy as his assistant.
Nevermind left field, we need someone that's outstanding in their field. Let him stick to his property empire and we'll leave the football management to someone with a lot more experience.

I would settle for Moyes, he will buy decent players, he will have a good team spirit and they will all put a shift in.
We could dangle his daughter out the window to attrach the always horny Wilfred Zaha while we're at it... He'd deffo put a shift in:dance:

I'd be disappointed if we got Moyes in again but of all the names mentioned so far he's definitely in the top 5 managers I'd be happy with.
Moyes did a great job in the main with the resources he had at the time.
What we need right now is a manager that will see out a 5 year project to get us back in the European places. Moyes would potentially hang around long enough to achieve that. I'm worried that the likes of Conte, Rafael, Galtier etc wouldn't manage any more than 2 seasons.

The only thing that i know for sure is that there isn't a Manager on the Planet that will satisfy all of the supporters. Have seen pretty much every Manager linked criticised included the big names, doesn't matter who it is. Dinosaur, doesn't fit us, rs scumbag, doesn't speak English, absolute nobody etc etc etc. Hopefully Everton will just ignore the lot of us and get whoever they think is the best for the job and despite our moans and omfg this club is a parody club, we will still continue to exist and will get behind whoever is appointed in the end anyway. We always do once we have got the bed wetting out of the way. ;)

I'll get behind anyone, just not Benitez

Nah Galtier knows the score, he rebuilt Etienee and Lille into a European team and a title winner

Agreed! We definitely need to be ignored on this one

Liked the idea of Conte and when he binned Spurs even more so until I read this.
In June 2009, after weeks of rumours linking Conte to the vacant managerial role at Juventus, he agreed in principle for a contract extension to keep him at Bari for the new season. However, on 23 June, Bari announced they had rescinded the contract with Conte by mutual consent.[24]
