Seeing we would have only got 30m from Usmanov with what everybody thought was a massively inflated deal, anything above 20m is great. 10 would have been towards the meh side, but plenty were still predicting that would have been top end.
30mil wasn’t the deal it was for Usmanov to be at the front of the queue for the naming rights. I just think in 5/6 years the kit and shirt sponsorship deals will be worth more and surely a stadium rights deal should be the bigger deal

Really hope they gut the media and marketing teams when they come in. We really need to start selling the club to the fan base and potential supporters, really grow the brand. This last year of Goodison has been a massive waste of revenue potential so far. Should be pushing as much memorabilia on the fans, and throwing out constant look backs to the sporting history of the ground through social media channels.

20 mil/year for naming rights to a stadium would be the 2nd richest deal in the NFL, where they routinely go for 8 figures. Tottenham is looking for 20-25 million after 5 years of being in their stadium without a deal...

The USM deal was rumoured to be 300m, so 30 pa. (with the holding rights 30 on top or perhaps just an advance of the first year).

Stadium sponsorship is usually lower than kit/shirt deals if you look across the leagues. Bayern get 13m euros per year.

Spurs are never going to get the pay back on the time they've missed out on. Getting an early deal for BMD and immediate flow will clearly be helpful.
