Yes, this is true.

But the Friedkins really must avoid the seduction of continuity - unless it makes real sense. Moshiri came in and sacked the manger - but kept continuity with Kenwright. In one fell swoop, he holed himseld under the bow.

Kenwright was a patsy in my opinion mate, it was always Moshiri making the calls.

Different roles also of course - most fans think the DOF is about signin*players in truth he co-ordinates and managers the medical dept, sports science, diet and nutritritian, injury management and rehab, youth team management and back up teams and first team.

Huge role to role up mid season and reboot, wouldn’t be clever.

Oh, Kenwright was far too mendacious and wily to be anybody's patsy...

I am certain that his continued and eternal chairmanship of the club was a legally-binding condition of any sale.

And sure enough, they had to take him out in a box - as predicted - to get rid of him.

Not for me in all honesty, apparently at the end his main functions at the club were mostly EITC and nothing operationally.

He was Wiley enough to be fair, the deal he did Moshiri was well negotiated for the club.

But look let’s not speak ill etc..,.

Thelwell, I would see what he can do with the tools to do the job. It's impossible to put together a good squad with negative money. The only players you can get are loans, projects, or massively deficient in some way.

Dyche, I think he can go at the end of the season at the latest. Burnley wasn't exactly rich but they had a little bit of money to invest in the squad, and Dyche still chose to play this boring hoofball banks of four stuff. I don't think he can change his style. It's just what you get with him.

Tommorow is the day folks.

He was involved in some of the transfer deals the season before his passing, he wasn't a patsy , he definitely played a role in the underwhelming way the club was run inserting his influence, not saying moshiri didn't have any input but he was very malleable and open to suggestion from kenwright and kia the sleazy agent friend of his. Not just kenwright still being involved , the fact there was no clear structure in place and various factions vied for control. Brands has spoke about the matter during interviews, also you think it was moshiris idea to hire Denise to run the business aspects of the club? that move reeks of kenwright.

Obviously Benitez was a moshiri decision as he became desperate to bring in what he perceived was a notable name despite the history, we were also linked with roberto again when Benitez was sacked , and the only reason Martinez didn't come back the Belgians wouldn't let him do dual duty.

I think at the end it was more like that because of his health. He was still involved in deals when Lampard was here as he was supposedly key in the Dele deal.
