I thought that was the case but couldn’t remember the specifics so took it out before I posted.

New owners hopefully ruthless and do what needs to be done for whichever member of staff it is. I imagine they say to thelwell that he has until the end of his contract to prove why he needs to stay on (also think it will be dependant on the books that are due to be released in Jan and if no breaches) (I know they will have seen the books, but will be wanting to see zero charges etc as these accounts are Thelwells years now).

Yeah, the sentiment is stil dripping from the pores of the club. Is Thelwell really the best available director of football in world football? If not, sack him and appoint whoever is. We have too many prepared to make excuses for people like Marcel Brands and Kevin Thelwell, people who made a career out of having cheerleaders excusing their lack of impact by blaming other people. Fine, other people might well have been the problem, but it didn't stop these two taking the coin, so clearly they hadn't too much issue with other people's interference.

A full clear out is needed.
