no playing the biscuit gameWell, Matty, when I'm excited and in bed, it's usually not with milk and biscuits.
One last sleep.

He’ll apologise with a goodbye message so that, at some point, he can visit the stadium his fat sanctioned mate has funded
I’m not defending him, just saying that’s what’s coming

You call them excuses, I’d call them valid reasons. He’s been almost single handedly running the club, drastically reducing a catastrophic wage bill during times when the owner didn’t want to know, the club were being docked points for breaching PSR and the club so heavily in debt and and barely keeping afloat that he’s had to sign whoever we’re willing to let their players go for zero/minimal down payments.Yeah, the sentiment is stil dripping from the pores of the club. Is Thelwell really the best available director of football in world football? If not, sack him and appoint whoever is. We have too many prepared to make excuses for people like Marcel Brands and Kevin Thelwell, people who made a career out of having cheerleaders excusing their lack of impact by blaming other people. Fine, other people might well have been the problem, but it didn't stop these two taking the coin, so clearly they hadn't too much issue with other people's interference.
A full clear out is needed.
I remember the complaints from agents that Everton had 4 competing transfer strategies running at the same time: Moshiri’s, Brands’, Kenwright’s and Joorabchian’s.
Was only messin xAnd the sun's going down...
There is no such thing as a perfect DOF. they all get lucky at different times, not so lucky others. Walsh was the messiah at Leicester, terrible here. Ashworth great at Brighton, as you say, didn’t recruit well in his brief stint at United. Monchi was the best DOF on the planet at Sevilla, then went to Roma and stank the place out. I can guarantee you that whoever comes in after Thelwell will soon be heavily criticised on here because every signing (inevitably) won’t be a big success.Well United’s summer business under Ashworth doesn’t give me great confidence, but his work at Brighton does.
So you’re wishing Putin, Truss and Steve McMahon a good one?Good tidings to you and your kin.
Merry Christmas to everybody except Farhad Moshiri and Sean Dyche x

Not exactly like any of them went for 2m was it.
How much did Forest pay for Gibbs White? How much did Brighton pay for Pedro? How much did the rs pay for Diaz?
I think the cheapest out of that lot was Kudus wasn't it who cost West Ham 30m+???
