Real actual experienced and qualified people are emerging. Maybe some of these may be medium term until more local teams can be set up. People won’t like it, but PSR will restrict a victorious splurge in January, but having people with half a brain at the helm is a start.

Ooh, Uruguayan. Now there's a proper football country.

Let's hope she gets her, er, teeth into the job.

New bloke has a slightly better CV than just “massive Everton fan, boys pen etc etc”

Marc Watts is President of The Friedkin Group, a privately held and diverse consortium of businesses and investments in the automotive, hospitality, entertainment, golf and adventure industries, including Gulf States Toyota, one of the world’s largest independent distributors of Toyota vehicles and parts. He serves on the Board of Service Corporation International and Highland Resources, Inc. Marc earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and a law degree from Harvard University.
but does he call it football or soccer ?

Yeah, Moshiri made his fair share of mistakes, but to be fair, the stadium wouldn’t be happening without him. He put his money in, no doubt about that—he just trusted the wrong people and maybe meddled a bit too much at times. Still, I think his heart was in the right place, and his intentions were good. For the stadium alone, he deserves some credit, so fair play to him for that.

Now, let’s hope these new owners have the backbone to make the tough calls, bring in the right people, and run the club properly. It’s going to take time, but maybe this is the fresh start we’ve been waiting for. Here’s to getting back to where we belong. COYB!

Restructuring of the debt and we are no longer at risk of going into administration is a great start, which would have probably happened already if Moshiri had sold out to 777. We are desperate for the good times to return. However we need to be realistic. In the short term they have put us financially on a stable footing. The next step is to appoint people to the board and managerial positions that will stabilise us and seek to grow us as a club and seek new commercial investment.
Lastly I think Dyche’s days are numbered. It’s not like we are in a position of strength in the table. The football is awful. I think they will look to bring in a new manager. I’m hoping it’s a young hungry manager, but one with experience. My preferred choice would be Nagelsman, working in tandem with a new DOF.
