Leaving aside the ruin that Moshiri and Kenwright between them contrived to produce were it not for the former and his decision to purchase and develop BMD I really don't think we would be where we are today. I can imagine given his past performances that Moshiri may well have continued funding - albeit on a diminishing scale - the acquisition of no better than average players, replacing managers ad hoc fashion whilst just hoping things would get better before eventually pulling the plug and sending us into administration. The development of BMD is probably his and our Clubs saving grace because without it I am seriously doubtful we would have garnered much by way of purchase interest from anyone other than carpet bagger venture capitalists.

Of course, things are far from perfect but TFG will, hopefully, finally bring some acumen to the table both on and off the field and move us forward to being a more competitively run Club.

So for this alone I am grateful to Moshiri (and Usmanov, let's not forget) that he had the foresight to acquire and build our new stadium on such an iconic waterfront location where the prospect of future development initiatives and investment will levy greater interest and exposure for the Club.
