Yes, I'm well aware of what it was. Also was also a lock up for Drunks...it wasn't a house.
I still think it's what they are referencing with the name.

Merseyside’s hidden treasures: Prince Rupert’s Tower
PRINCE Rupert’s Tower, a beehive-like structure on Everton Brow, began in 1787 as an overnight lock-up for drunks and minor miscreants.www.liverpoolecho.co.uk
I'm sure there are more sources - I found these in a few minutes.
It was my thought also, to be honest.
As I understand it, it’s a vehicle setup specifically to purchase Everton.
It’s not something I’ve ever heard Rupert’s Tower called, but it would make sense.
Roundhouse is also a term used in boxing for a type of punch.
Could be a few reasons for it. Does Dan live in a round house?
I think people use the term “roundhouse” in a fairly generic way. Wikipedia seems to think so, anyway. They have a long “Roundhouse may refer to…” list.…..great research, Matey. I was born and raised in Everton and never heard that terminology.
….i imagine he lives in a mansion.
Would say that's a long term project for them. They haven't been in top flight football since the 90s. Think Zidane used to play for themI didn't realise the Friedkins also own AS Cannes who are currently in the French regional fourth division. They aren't exactly smashing it in the league but beat second division Grenoble in the French cup today.

I like the fact that tenure doesn't even make his Wikipedia page.
