Talking of the post Bournemouth interview, you couldn't hear the journalists questions properly, but, could quite clearly hear Dyche's ridiculous answers. Was this just inept sound production or an attempt to make the questioning seem less critical of Dyche?
No conspiracy
Just Everton not being willing to fork out a few quid for hand held mic stand.
Reporters questions have been muffled and distant for years now

Longterm I concur but as a caretaker till the end of the season he would actually provide what dyche is supposed to offer, stability. He is actually capable of implementing younger players into the setup, has an eye for recruitment, and although he is pragmatic can play balanced football with an attacking element with a history of overachieving with a flawed squad
I could stomach him as a Director of Football - but not as a manager.

We may see shortly what the Thelwell/Dyche relationship is really like.

Does Thelwell believe Dyche has been doing as well as is possible?
Will Dyche be supported by the DOF or not.

Is the performance of KT also under review ?

Will the current manager be sacked without a ready-made replacement being available.
I can't see any of the existing coaching staff being given the job, none of them have any experience.

Hey friedkins not only will the fans be elated if you sack dyche, I'm assuming the everton maintenance crew as well, I'm sure there will be a lot less clogged toilets at finch farm and goodison when he departs

then it’s on them also if we go down
We won’t.
Based on ?
probably the below is accurate
Literally nothing but his depression

Sacking him in the middle of the January transfer window is madness. He will and should have identified players that kopite Kev is working on to the replace the 10+ players leaving, we haven’t signed any players in the winter window for two seasons now unlikely that will change now I think - unless Dan wants to make a splash.

I'm going to be totally honest and say I have no idea how the TFG will do at Everton.

But, I also know saying stuff like " They know how to pick a good manager " and " I like there longterm vision " is being ultra positive.

Ranieri has steadied the ship but at his age, he is just a stop gap in the same way as Fat Sam was for us a few years back.

3 different managers in a season doesn't scream out to me " They can pick a good manager " or " I like there longterm vision " seems a little choatic to me.

If that happens here the fanbase won't be applauding them for there great manager choices or longterm vision of spending millions upon millions changing managers every quarter.

Your critique is acknowledged, though it conflates adaptability with dysfunction, overlooking the complexities of modern football management. Multiple managerial changes do not inherently signify chaos; rather, they can demonstrate strategic recalibration. The Friedkin Group’s tenure at Roma exemplifies this. Their managerial transitions reflect a dynamic responsiveness to shifting circumstances, not reactive instability.

Ranieri’s appointment, while temporary, is a calculated measure to stabilize a volatile situation, preserving the club’s trajectory. Such interim decisions are not antithetical to long-term vision but often necessary precursors to sustained progress. Their governance has already yielded tangible results, including European silverware—hardly the hallmark of ineptitude.

For Everton, where inertia has perpetuated mediocrity, Friedkin’s decisive approach offers a much-needed departure from stagnation. Frustration over change is valid but far preferable to enduring decline. Adaptability, even if disruptive, should be viewed as ambition rather than chaos. Judging Friedkin without recognizing their strategic pragmatism oversimplifies a far more nuanced and effective leadership style.

Sky and the echo have now been briefed, I suspect myers will launder that information back as intel this afternoon

They know f.a.

There's 2 weeks until Everton's next PL game and they need to fill it with tittle tattle and make themselves look relevant.

I doubt very much that TFG are about to do anything this side of the Villa game.

They'll be on a watching brief.
