There is a chart somewhere that shows since his first stint at Chelsea his ppg ratio has gotten steadily worse at every club he has been at since. Jose is a funny guy and always good for a soundbite but there is a reason he finds himself in Turkish football these days.

It’s a very different landscape to the last time he had any significant success in the game, 10 years ago. The game has moved on from him, that’s exactly why he’s in Turkey as you said.

The game has definitely changed . However I appreciate he got the bullet but as far as I can see the Roma fans seemed to view his time as a success didn’t they ?

I imagine being on the 5th of 6th top salary in the world probably has something with him being there as well .

Jose Mourinho is a “strong option” to take over from Sean Dyche at Everton once Dan Friedkin completes his takeover, sources have told Football Insider.

The 59-year-old American businessman reached an agreement with incumbent owner Farhad Moshiri to purchase his 94.1 per cent stake in the club.
I mean, I'm all for a good 2+2=479, but have they not factored in that the Friedkins have already sacked Mourinho once?

Is Jose that much of a soft touch or kept man to take a call from the Friedkins? Are they that masochistic to make it in the first place?

This "article" was clearly submitted by an incel in his mother's box room experimenting with AI.

This the type of garbage my dad reads and thinks is true. I'll probably be getting a message off him shortly telling me we're getting Mourinho and spending a Gazillion Pounds in January.

Yeah, I saw that one too, it hardly seems likely though, when you consider that Friedkin sacked him a year ago and Jose now 'allegedly' can't stand him

And he'll sack him again, and Mourinho will gladly accept his severance package as he walks off with a few soundbites about how he wasn't allowed to succeed.

I also hasten to add, that I won't need to go to the shop for any condiments to make my hat taste better if I were to state that I would eat it if Mourinho ever rocked up here as manager.

Especially after eating my last three hats over Ancelotti, Fat Scam and the fsw.

Reckon they'd have won that league cup final they sacked him the week before
That was mental though, a proper "Lads it's Tottenham" moment from them.

Valid, but it's still around/over 50% win rate though, not like he's gone to 1 win in 20 games hahah

He's in Turkey for the money anyway, nothing more, nothing less.

It’d be a short but mental and successful period.
would it though? This is still Everton.... 😂

He`s a more glamorous and wittier version of Benitez / Dyche / Allardyce, who eventually destroys clubs from within, just like Benitez.

He`s like a wrecking ball at every club he goes too.
