he sacked him didn’t he?
A month after departing the club, Mourinho opened up about the end of his time in Rome and took a firing shot at Friedkin in the process. "The European competitions are about to begin, in particular the Champions League, perhaps the world’s most important competition on the calendar," he said.

"I won’t be there at these final stages, not because I have already been eliminated, but because I was 'eliminated' by someone who knows little about football. That’s life, full of ups and downs, and I’m growing, despite the unexpected and unfair dismissal"

Could just be Mourinho being bitter but that doesn't strike me as something that can be a healthy working relationship for the future. File under nonsense

Mourinho has had a fight with owners, players, staff and fans at every club he's at, along with referees, he's arguably the most bitter manager out there, of course that's his stance.

Mourinho isn’t the answer for me. Most of his success was when he could spend money with abandon. He also deemed Saha and De Bruyne not good enough.

I guess that doesn't mean much at this juncture. A-Cap had undertaken to provide the details of the TFG transaction to Leadenhall in any event. It seems the judge will have to make another ruling at that stage concerning whether or not the deal represents asset-stripping.
