I think its inevitable in the next week or so for the friedkins to make their move to replace dyche , initially with dyche papering the cracks with draws against better and the friedkins preferring a more tranquil takeover than creating waves but with dyches unwillingness and inability to try to win games it has to occur especially if reports about dyche nixing some of thelwell's recruitment suggestions are true as dyche cannot have any say on recruitment for the future as he is a relic of the past
The squad overhaul needs to start now. We have too many players out of contract to try and replace them all in one go. Some of them need to bed in at this stage especially if coming from abroad. Any younger players at the club deemed good enough need minutes now which, let’s face it, Dyche will not do

If they were sacking Thelwell then that needed to have happened too already as we need new players in. If they are keeping him then he needs to be given a new contract.

We have an FA cup tie against lower league opponents soon. Any other manager would be giving younger players a go. But not ours.

The worrying thing yesterday was how many players just didn't do nearly enough. Harrison was abysmal, but he is most weeks, however, Tarkowski was very poor once again, I don't know what O'Brien has to do to get a game. Branthwaite and Doucoure were not much better, in fact, it's a worrying situation when Mykolenko was our best defender.

Having said all that the worst part for me was Dyche post match. He, once again threw the players under the bus, saying that they did not follow his instructions, now there are two ways of looking at that, did the players really ignore his instructions and do their own thing? If that's the case it would suggest that he has lost the dressing room, or, and this is the more likely scenario, did Dyche simply use this as an excuse for our complete lack of creativity? If that is the case he will very soon have lost the dressing room.

Either way, I feel we have probably reached the point where we have to make a change, because, from this starting position, a squad which is at loggerheads with the manager, may well take us down.

Harrison will never be dropped until dwight is fit because dyche doesn't even care if harrison produces anything attacking wise he's just there as another right back unfortunately

Disappointing that nobody from TFG was in attendance, if that's correct. There were some nice touches with their website and corporate HQ but you have to have senior people turn up at the match surely. I would have expected Marc Watts there again at least.

The takeover was six months in the making, so I'm surprised.

Perhaps they didn't want to place themselves in a negative situation yesterday but if so then there will be a lot more of it and the only chance of a break in that cycle is a new manager. I hope they take note.

Hey just because they own the club doesn't give them a pass from watching us play If we have to suffer for our club so should they lol

I have no problem them not attending but then sacking him today.

This is all speculation as I don't know the future haha but I highly doubt the friedkins are fully content with dyche riding out his contract till the end of the season if they only had a quick conversation after taking over it would be pretty absurd if that was the case in my opinion

Get your finger out and get rid of this really terrible Manager. He publicly blamed his team for his own incompetence yesterday. Worse thing is most of us knew before the game started exactly what was going to happen because he has been doing it all season. Get him gone today.

Mykolenko was incredibly poor yesterday. Him and Tarkowski were on another planet. Branthwaite was all right and Young was fine.

Could have a scenario where Dyche is sacked without ever having met Friedkin in person. I assume they would leave that to Watts in that case. Be a bit odd if Dyche had to take a phone call from Friedkin about it, unless he was to travel over specifically, which is unlikely I'd say.

I think it shows great leadership and foresight. I wish I hadn’t gone yesterday given the dross that we were forced to endure.

Would have to disagree, while Mykolenko was poor he was marginally less poor than his colleagues, Tarkowski was a different level of poor yesterday, he's not been great for most of the season and I fear that time may be catching up with him. Branthwaite, although he was much better than Tarkowski, was miles below his level and really struggled to deal with Wood and Gibbs White at times. As for old Ashley, he was struggling as well, but, overall this season, he has been surprisingly good.

This thread is wild.

Perhaps some post match pints were sank, but to be questioning the owners after a week because they didn't sack a manager for drawing with 3 good sides is wild.

Lost to a side in 2nd and I keep seeing things like "concerned", 'frauds".

"Why aren't they turning up?". Give them a minute.

Whatever they do, give them time to make a decision, if the money is tight in January, are they really blowing it sacking a manager?

I know Moshiri/Kenwright were messes, but let's not use their failure as a measuring stick to beat TFG with.

Let's see how we do over the next 6 months before really casting judgement.
