New Everton Stadium

Sewage works are a fair way away.

Confused by this now, as I thought the new and old treatment plants are in Sandon and Wellington docks, which are the ones next to Bramley Moore docks?

55,000 people is a lot to get in on those roads and nearby stations but presumably the whole plan involves a massive upgrade to roads etc. too? Could be quite a challenge though?

If some announcement is close, that's some work that's already been done and massive respect to Moshiri & Co. if indeed that's the case.

A new stadium, and an iconic and multi-purpose venue at that, with our name on it, would be the single biggest game-changer and image-changer possible.

I really hope that this can come to pass.

Nope, if you go back through the thread a couple of months ago, Esk and another poster were saying the site was Sandon Dock if I remember rightly and that was the one next to the sewage plant.

Bramley Moore and Clarence Docks are further into the City Center, situated around the tobacco warehouse.

That sounds great!
