New Everton Stadium

UNESCO can swivel , as I have pointed out before the city of Dresden told them to get lost in the name of progress, the city of Liverpool will do the same with the stadium being the catalyst to kick start Liverpool Waters and the potential of creating several thousand jobs .

The vee columns are cool, don't know what the problem is with it.

That's why we shouldn't, as a city, pander to unesco's 'wants', we don't live in caves anymore and things change. Directives like not building taller than the cathedral etc are antiquated restrictions on progress.

When you think how difficult it's been for us to spend the tv dosh for just this season let alone Mosh's bag of gold I think this thing might actually get built without him putting in a red cent. What a deal, When it dawns on Bill how he could have done this himself he'll have a few sleepless nights

Yes mate, the club has 450m just sitting in the bank, Mosh wont spend a penny.

True, and that's obviously a help, but if Liverpool is like the rest of the UK then the planning system for such a big development is likely to be subject to much more scrutiny and will be very transparent.

That's why I'm wondering to what extent, if any Everton have been working with the planners, traffic management people etc about their design so that a lot of potential issues will be addressed before any application is made.

Clarence Dock looks much better in terms of its proximity to the city.

He means as WELL as Clarence Dock Friend.

Is that the cost is it?
Well, when you consider Lukakus value alone could be nudging a hundred million next year, God knows what Hilgates value will be. Plus the tv money for the next five years, I'd say at the very least Bill could have gotten a loan for this sort of caper

The Echo released a story saying it will cost us £20m to buy the land and various people on here are saying the Echo story is old news and that the deal is already in place but yet to be announced basically.

Cheers mate, off work and getting battered by the kids Hahahaha, haven't kept up at all!

Be interesting if this news breaks soon, exciting times if it goes ahead!
