Our association with the City of Liverpool is underplayed massively by the club. I was delighted when Everton released the 'Welkom Ronald' pic with the City's skyline in the background - We should scream from the rooftops that we are 'The Originals' from this city.

I'd have no qualms whatsoever about having the word Liverpool in any new stadium name.

I'd even take OUR Liver Bird back somewhere in our badge.

Well the link to metalthingy is USM, if the USM link isnt an issue for Moshiri owning Everton, surely it shouldnt be an issue for Usmanov owning Arsenal.

What I mean is, the link cant be "inactive" for club ownership, but "active" for sponsorship.

Actually an interesting point whether or not these companies could sponsor the stadium given Usmanov's interest in them and Arsenal - I doubt we could do so.

Does it matter that R&W Holdings sits outside of USM Holdings (at least I assume it does)?

Well, they probably are now! But you get the gist.

Think 45k is a little on the low side.

50k should be the utter min, we would sell out a 50k for the majority of the games, a few we would struggle and most cup games of course would be much lower. Success on the pitch would clearly drive ticket sales and personally if it was up to me I would be looking at 55k for a starting point, clearly some games we could easily get more in, but its a fine line between juggling demand for 1 or 2 games a season over the other 20 or so.

People seem very sure about us hitting a 50k capacity regularly.

I reckon this year we'd do it for the Liverpool, United, city, Arsenal, Chelsea and then the Boxing Day/New Years day/Christmas games on the basis that it's not one of the above. That's not even half of home league games.

Even the ethiad is half empty at times.

I'd be gutted if we had a half empty stadium.
