New Everton Stadium

Taking inspiration from this weekends' opponents...The Merseyside Stadium.

Closest we can get without mentioning Liverpool, plus I reckon it's just as well recognised as an area of the UK. Also plays on the "pride if Merseyside" claim too.

I considered Merseyside Waterfront Stadium, but seems like repetition.

I see where you're coming from, but I personally think that that sounds a bit too much like the name of Southport FC's ground: The Merseyrail Community Stadium.

What's wrong with "The Liverpool Waterfront Stadium"? That's where the stadium will be, or so we hope! And we were the first professional club to inhabit this great city. Yes, such a name would annoy some of the Anfield faithful, but who cares?

considering our owner is a businessman and every new stadium sells naming rights. What company would be your preference?
the EMR stadium
the Princes park
the bibby line arena
the kelloggs bowl
Matalan discount fashion stadia

Surely 'The Bramley Moore Stadium' makes sense being thats where its located - however, that name will never stick cause a company will chuck a load of money at us to have their plastered over something thats on Liverpools Waterfront.

Something like that would look class ;)

So glad we don't actually have to choose a name as it would start a fight! By having the naming rights sold to the highest bidder we can all sleep easy knowing capitalism works best... as long as it's not Tesco or Aldi or Costco or Wonga or Poundland or thousands of other companies that we wouldn't want in 50 foot bright lights plastered on the side of it :(
